Out of all the BIG games coming out this holiday, which one will flop?

None of these titles will flop. The worst any of them will do is maybe get a 7.5 on GS.

Gears of war 3: 9-9,5 ("American"console+ ms money)

Skyward sword: 8,5

Uncharted 3: 8,5 for the lulz and its not on the xbox

I can see UC3 getting 8,5d

and if it does, ill be on SW all day!

if the beta is any indication of the final product then UC3 will flop.

UC3 looks and feels too much like U2... I predict a, very rarely given, 8.5 from gamespot.

After finally playing Uncharteed 2 a couple of months ago, I have no clue... That sub par game managed to gain a 96 critics average... It was the final nail in the coffin for me in regards to "professional" game critics. It feels like main stream gaming has transformed for the worst and the masses have gone with the trend. I'm stuck in the now ancient seeming notion that Gameplay is far more important than cinematic appeal.

I don't see any of those games getting less than an 8.0 and if you consider that a flop you might want to consider lowering your standards a little.

True dat. That luxury vacation and free swag they gave to Black Ops reviewers totally earned the game a 9 :)

Really sad when a giant company has to pay off reviewers because their game isn't worth a decent score.

Gears of War 3 is coming out in September so I'm not quite sure how it factors into "holiday"

Skyrim has been critically lauded with E3 awards

Uncharted 3 was critically lauded with E3 awards and the multiplayer on the show floor was getting great reception, and after having played it I can say that its indeed up there with Gears, Halo, etc. in terms of originiality and the various game modes

Skyward Sword is the sequel to a game that scored 8.5's in MANY places, so it could very well get that score again, but that still wouldn't be a flop IMO

-Assassin's Creed Revelations

-Saints Row 3

-Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

-Halo Combat Anniversary

-Silent Hill Downpour

-Resident Evil Operation Racoon City

I know. First of all, the beta is a lot of fun with many improvements. I am not going to say its perfect, but guess what? That's what a BETA is for. As IGN pointed out in their hands on with it, it is not a "beta" that is actually a demo, which happens for most games lately. This really is an early beta so they can test it and alter things. Things will be ironed out, tons of features will be added, and the SP will be amazing. The game wont get anything less than a 9.0.
