Multiplat or not, this game looks to have a legitimate shot at Game Of The Year and for that reason alone, it deserves a hype thread. 8)

I'm exicting for RDR story, but I'm sure that online is blech, almost like GTA 4 online. GTA 4 online is not that great :-/

That is kind of what I am planning as well. I normally don't drink much when I game unless I have some friends over, but I'll make an exception with this game. Kick back with some bourbon and relax while raising hell in the dying old west.

Looks very good but I dont have huge expectations, the first one on xbox was horrible imo.

I'm thinking this will win most of the GOTY awards. All the other big games are sequels, and this is Rockstar we're talking about. And before you say, this is a sequel too, remember that Revolver, while still a good game,was 80% Capcom, and 20% Rockstar. This is a100% kick you in the balls open world Rockstar game. No one does it better.

Jesus, score hype is through the roof. Almost all AAA or AAAA...... anyway I'm hyping AAA. Looks like it would be a deserved AAAA, but of course that's always unlikely.

Pre-ordered with one day shipping to come on the 18th. Lucky coincidence, all we have at school is standardized testing, which I find very easy, which means no homework, which means all day to play RDR :D.

I refuse to fall for the RDR hype... fell for the fallout 3 hype (sucked).. fell for the ff13 hype(that was pretty awesome) wont fall for this.. ;3 think back people rockstar makes good games but they dont make GOOD GAMES.. sure bully was cool, can't go wrong with gta.. and manhut...ok? And you guys are hyping this game like crazy... I forsense another 8.5 ...yup.

Magnus over on GAF has the PS3 version and will be posting his impressions after he plays it for awhile. Just thought I would give everyone worried about the PS3 version the heads up.

Here is a back box shot of the PS3 version. It has a 600MB install, which does not bother me, but it has the Gamespy online. I think I may be switching my pre-order over to the 360 version.

So does the GameStop pre-order include all the pre-order content? It says on the website it has the assassin outfit but it doesn't mention the golden guns or the warhorse. Other sites have said it includes all three.Zero5000X

No, it is the Special Edition with the slip case, soundtrack and a code for challenges which unlock the assasin's outfit. None of the other bonuses are included.

Just watched the latest trailer. Mind = Blown.

Here is the back of the box for the 360 version. Powered by Gamespy as well. That's Gamespy on both versions, so hopefully it will be OK.
