Oh god, that's glorious. Every Xbone interview in the future should have Heil asking the hard hitting questions
Not sure if we're allowed to post pics in threads yet, but Here are a few links from the floor at comicon. There are many more to come... These were just a few I had on my phone.

@Blabadon: Bayonetta 2 looked god tier and buttery smooth at 60fps... Honestly it looks like an incredible game.
...I should have bought tickets.
It was a really cool experience I have to say... Nice to know there are other "nerds" out there like us... Some of those autograph lines though... dear god, no thanks. Neil Degrasse Tyson showed up for an hour of autographs and the line immediately stretched across the massive convention center. on a dime.
What a great time we had.

My lungs on my coffee table? Or just the cool thing we did?
The Vita is such a rip-off; Sony gives it abysmal 1st party software support, third-parties only provide ports, there are hidden fees such as paying for overpriced memory cards to save and store your games (despite the system using CARTRIDGES), and their big revision, instead of improving and fixing it's problems, it removes the great OLED screen and didn't add SD Card support.
It's ridiculous how the 3DS can support like 128 GB SD cards (and have all the games to take up that space), and the Vita's latest megaton was that it was getting a Borderlands 2 port. Maybe one day the Vita will catch up to the 3DS (actually, no, that will never happen), but until that day, it's not even a contest.
Also, I like how the new Gamespot stretches the Youtube video to fill the screen. Sure, with a podcast you don't see much, but it's great.
I saw Walmart start selling a $99 PSP, and people ate it up. Meanwhile, the Vita remains in the shelf. Maybe Sony should have just called it the PSP2.
The huge decrease in sharpness, color, and depth is too noticeable for me to turn 3D off. I always play it with 3D on, I do turn it off sometimes to see how the game looks with AA, but it's always blurrier and gains a yellow tint.
I think you're the only person I know who plays the 3DS almost exclusively in 3D. I actually don't have anything against it... ie, It doesnt hurt my eyes or give me a headache after a while... I just for some reason don't use it,
The only time I willingly chose to go to 2D mode was to try out Mario Kart 7's motion controls. Motion controls are useless with 3D on, since it breaks up the 3D effect and distorts the image, making it impossible to see where you're going.
Nintendo should have definitely thought about that when implementing 3D or motion control, one or the other, not both.
Glasses-less 3D is one of the few things I think Sony could do better than Nintendo, because of their content. A 3D Vita could be a killer media player, being able to play 3D movies natively without glasses, and it would look great because of it's high-res OLED screen.
Interesting handheld wars discussion, but I think it would be worth looking beyond just the PSV / 3DS and looking towards the Android/iOS offerings as well as the new PC mobile market in the form of Bay Trail Windows 8.1 tablets.
For example Intel's Z3770 Bay Trail-T SoC has been demonstrated playing games such as Team Fortress 2 (and other Source titles). The Z3770 will come inside of 8 inch or 10 inch devices, and these will be fully capable Windows 8.1 computers, so they'll be compatible with any x86 Windows software such as Steam.
Prototype Bay Trail-T tablet demonstrating TF2 gameplay:
If you don't feel like using an external controller / controller dock, there are on screen controller options such as GestureWorks Gameplay for Windows 8 (or 8.1):
This is just the start of things to come, and I would look forward to Intel's 14nm Airmont and NVIDIA's Kepler mobile (GPU performance above an 8800GTX) in 2014.
so i heard from DSS that a sexy brazilian fellow with an amazing accent was on this episode.

i actually agree with your downsides, but the ghosting from the 3D not being perfect, the battery consumption, and the eyestrain from prolongued sessions just made me give up on 3D and leave it mostly turned off.
Nintendo should have done something like those tablets for the Wii U.

I have never gotten eyestrain from prolonged sessions (but I hve gotten massive hand-cramps), and I have found the battery life to be equally poor in both 3D and 2D, so no reason for me to turn it off. What I do to extend battery life is to turn off wireless, which is sad because I like getting Streetpasses.
@jg4xchamp: I'm down... Who would you suggest. II'm a horror game novice myself.
