@clyde46: because I'm an idiot... I read some friends feedback on it online saying it was a really nice upgrade over win8 so I jumped in... The hard drive software is corrupt now negating a reboot... Software being sent from lenovo and repaired next week... Hoping to get it back by Friday :(

Damn consolites have no business in pc gaming... My rage yesterday bordered that of a Trevor rampage.

@AMD655: This is the first time I've ever heard anyone say Twin Snakes was good.

On its own it's decent but compared to the original it's trash. It has some better gameplay mechanics but the environments of MGS1 are designed around a different set of mechanics so it kinda breaks some of the fights

It's also completely over flashy and the re-done voice work is atrocious. Some scenes like the ninja death hallway lose that eerie feel the original had

@seanmcloughlin: That pretty much sums up what I've heard. I'd like to play it but idk. Maybe that fox engine potential remake will happen? I have MGS but I'd like to see it with new graphics, without it breaking the game.

Eh the retor graphics are sorta the charm. Plus like I said, introducing very different mechanics but keeping the levels similar kinda breaks the flow of it. The trip back to Shadow Moses in MGS4 will do me just fine, it was the only part of that game I truly enjoyed
