What makes a 'real gamer' ? because i have been gaming for 27 years and i always assumed that a real gamer was somebody who plays games regardless of which hardware they play there games on or how they play there games.

If you are trying to say that only playstation owners are real gamers then you are a fool because i was gaming long before the Playsation even existed.

People seem to forget that both Nintendo and Microsoft where making games a long time before SONY even entered the games market, the Playsation brand has only been around since the 5th gen.

i chose the 360 as my weapon of choice last gen, are you try to say i am not a real gamer?

the Xbone may not be the best console this gen but Saying that people who game on an Xbox are somehow not real gamers is just utter BS quite frankly.

I think its great that its exclusive. Respawn only had to focus on Xbox and PC, delivering the best multiplayer shooter ever.

you are aware that SONY have pulled some pretty bad Anti gaming practices in the past, between them and MS they forced Sega out of the gaming market and SONY even tried pushing nintendo out of the gaming market by buying out virtually every multiplat game as exclusive for the PS1.

Every company is only after your money, if you believe otherwise then you clearly do not have a clue how business works.

Also, please name these 'anti gaming' practices that MS are guilty of, i am curious to here your take on this.

Real gamers play and enjoy, or can at least appreciate, all of the gaming consoles because every one of them has something good to offer if you don't let fanboyism, which stems from insecurity and jealousy that you don't own all of the consoles, blind you and cause you to make stupid comments like you have made in this thread to try to justify your own console purchase by trying to convince others that their choice of the other console that you don't own is bad.

I doubt EA is regretting anything.. Now a days to get the most profit these games are going multiplat on just about every platform... When they don't they either do not have the manpower (which isn't the case for EA) or they get a sweet heart bonus for keeping it on a certain system.. Microsoft clearly gave the company a lot of money to ensure that it did not port over to the Playstation for the time being..

As for the Xbox One.. The system needs to be lowered to $400 and the kinect be optional.. Because the type of audience they are trying to attract with games like these do not care for the kinect thus far.. Which has illustrated to be a colossal mess, I would have preferred they would continued going the Wii's route for motion controls if they were set on going down that route in technology..

who is bitching about Titan Fall not on their system? I don't think I have seen anyone bitch about it. If anything you can buy a $150 Nivida new card and play it. It even runs it better than XB1 from what I read.

Xboner? i have no intention of purchasing either the Xbone or the PS4, i game on a nexus 7 at the mo and my wife has given me the choice between a WiiU and a steambox, both of which have more to offer me as a gamer than either the Ps4 or the Xbone.

I am not thick enough to ally myself with any company, they are all out to get your money and beyond that they couldn't give a monkeys about gamers, if they have something on offer i want i will buy it but thats as far as it goes.

Thats too bad for EA. They could have made even more money having it on the sold out ps4. Even more than what ms paid them and go head on with activision new ip destiny. Activision looks to be the winner again. First it cod beating out battlefield then comes destiny. Im sure the next blackops will be a big hit because it was a lot better than mw. Gotta admit ghost was annoying and dissapointing thats why I traded it in for tomb raider.im looking forward to the next blackops it was more balanced than other cod and addicting. This is a lesson to be learned by EA. There wont be a titanfall 2 on ps4..... it will be called titanrise on the ps4.

I could be wrong, but I somewhat think the core reason X1 is not selling well is because it's less powerful.

EA didn't 'bet' anything... they accepted a mountain of money from a company with bottomless pockets.

Well how much money did MS pay them? And if MS is footing the bill for all the advertising then it would seem like a pretty good deal for getting a new IP off the ground

Not true with all the sales they will be losing from not supporting the leading console platform. Not only is that a fortune lost from millions of copies not sold but it also gives other titles a better chance at becoming this generations household name. Don't really care for EA, they've made too many mistakes the past few years for me to care about any of their games. I dont care for titanfall, other than to see what it does in sales and how it will impact x1, i like the business side of games too. If i really wanted titanfall i have pc, so yeah..but seeing how successful the ps4 is doing and knowing how greedy EA is, im pretty sure they are kicking themselves right now, but that's only a guess.

Well, it depends what the deal was. Although, I'm sure it was a better deal for EA than it was for Respawn

Obviously overpricing the X1 was a huge mistake.

I don't get how they could think that MS would kick Sony's butt this gen, they couldn't do it last gen, even with a year head start. It was pretty evident all along that Sony knew about they're failures with the PS3, and that they have done what they can to get the PS3 back up on it's feet, improving dev tools, PSN, and helping devs out.

MS has gone the complete opposite direction, prioritising media capabilities, and ditching exclusives hoping that multiplats alone would keep people satisfied. Also, the PSN is actually a better online service than Xbox Live, which I did not expect to happen.

It was also pretty obvious looking at the early dev kits, that Sony wasn't going to make another complicated console.

So you say people arent going to buy an xbox one in order to play titanfall because its available for their old system. Then go on to say the reason people are buying PS4s is for multiplats available on their old system.

He makes perfect sense actually. PS4 runs all the popular multiplats best (PC not included of course) meanwhile Xbone has the inferior multiplats and costs $100 more. Looks like people are more willing to pay less and get all the popular multiplats at their console best than pay more for one multiplat game (Titanfall) and inferior multiplats.

Popular multiplats like COD,BF, AC, etc. are what's driving the sales for PS4 right now especially when you consider this gen has gone on for so long and people are tired of PS3/360. Then there's also the promise of better exclusives form Sony's world class 1st party studios. It's not really hard to see why the PS4 is selling like crack.
