'The report says one of Sony’s copy protection system uses cloaked files to hide deep inside Windows, similar to files used by computer virus writers to hide code from anti-virus scanners.
Although resembling a virus, the hidden files are generated by an anti-copying system called Extended Copy Protection (XCP), which has been criticised for being poorly written software that cannot be uninstalled. However, Sony says there are ways of removing the software and says the latest versions of XCP have moved away from using hidden files.'

SONY is such a Saintly company eh?
Stop trying to derail the conversation xboner. Every real gamer out there knows that there's nothing like MS and their anti-gaming vision. Their whole use of resources is used in anti-gaming agendas.
i was gaming before you where out of nappies kid, if anybody here out of the two of us can claim to be a real gamer it would be me sunshine.
Both companys where as bad as each other, you know it was SONY who patented Anti used games software systems FIRST and it was also SONY who patented systems to lock a game to one Console FIRST.
'Sony has filed for a patent for a technology to tether a video-game to a console so that you can't sell it, loan it out, play it on a new console after your existing one is stolen or damaged, etc. Some speculate that this is intended for use with the PS3, but wherever it's deployed, it's very consistent with Sony's ongoing contempt for its customers. Once you've installed rootkits onto everyone's PCs, what's a little unfair trade practices aimed at killing the aftermarket?'

Listen, you obviously don't have a clue what you are talking about, i understand, you are young and not very wise yet, i get that, either that or you are just a very bad internet troll, it's ok, there are various orginisations out there that can help, lol
Xboner? i have no intention of purchasing either the Xbone or the PS4, i game on a nexus 7 at the mo and my wife has given me the choice between a WiiU and a steambox, both of which have more to offer me as a gamer than either the Ps4 or the Xbone.
I am not thick enough to ally myself with any company, they are all out to get your money and beyond that they couldn't give a monkeys about gamers, if they have something on offer i want i will buy it but thats as far as it goes.
