Long shot, but possible Palworld's weekend surge could surpass PUBG's this weekend on Steam Charts, over their concurrently player records. Trends usually show a plateau or dip before its daily peak surge and currently it hasn't done either yet and it's 25%+ higher than it has been the last couple days. Conservatively I'd say easy it peaks above 2.5M concurrently players on Steam Charts. But who knows, perhaps it's phenomenal success could break PUBG's 3.2M concurrent player record. This would also be historic not just for reaching the all-time Steam record for concurrent player count, but doing so rather quickly. PUBG's peak slowly inched up over a year, this could take as little as 10 days.

This is a case of a fact hurting your feeling. These games run at 30 fps unless you switch to Performance Mode. I will stop mentioning it when this fact is no longer true for said game. 30 fps is atrocious, and PS5 is garbage.

Only when using Performance Mode. Which is usually at a final 1440p output (often upscaled from 1080p). At that resolution I expect 144-240 fps, not 50-60. And to make matters worse, a final 1440p output directly on a 4K television looks like ass. So not only does the game look like a blurry mess now, but it's running at a mediocre 60 fps. What shitty hardware.

1. But that 1440p is being ran on a 4K TV, which is what PS5 gamers use. That looks bad. You want native resolution for the display or it's blurry.

2. 1440p is awesome for those who want to play at 200+ fps. Going down to an ancient resolution just to get 60 fps is sad.

So it's either an eye destroying slide show ("Quality" Mode), or a blurry mess and still kinda slow ("Performance" Mode).

1440p is for 200+ fps , not 60 fps. That doesn't run good. Also it looks a lot less good than 4K. But it's funny to know PS5 requires two displays to get the most out of it. So sad.

The PS5 and the ps4 are 100000 times more popular than your xbox. This is a third party title that has no exclusivity deals. If you seriously believe that it won't be out on a sony platform in 2024 you're creating your own stupid reality, and believe in it.

No shot. Sony themselves said that they want the game on their playstation. When a multi billion dollars company says that to a tiny ass indie developer, there's no such thing as "no, its fine, we're staying on pc and xbox only". PS4 and PS5 are also the systems that will print em the most amount of money, and they aren't fools, they want that cash.

The only way this might not happen is if MS is already in talk with acquiring the studio, and i am not seeing it happen after just one successful game.

The chances of this game coming out on the ps5 AND ps4, are higher than Sony releasing a PS6.
