Technically speaking PS3 is the best.

Overall 360 by far is the best. Best line up of games. Best online feature set. And decent media integration.

I believe he/she meant HDD. All PS3 bundles have come with a Hard Drive, even if it's just 20GB (which must be a bummer now with all the installs). And while the Wii doesn't have a hard drive technically, it does at least come with some built in memory. You'll recall that the original Xbox 360 "core" didn't come with anything.ThePlothole

MS sold the core without an HDD so that they could have a lower cost option for the 360. ironically, if someone were to buy the core unit and then buy an HDD, Headset and wireless control to be on parity with the premium (the original name), it would end up costing more.

nowadays, MS could upgrade both the core and pro to have HDD's (with the pro having 60GB) and they may be able to keep the price the same. to be honest they should do this but lower the price at the same time to get more people to buy the console.

Really it is all about taste, I am sure that these games are good but they do not interest me more then any games that I could get for the PC and Wii combo. So IF I personally were to buy another system it would be PS3 not the 360

I see. But just because you think it is, doesn't make it the best console. You listed the pros but didn't list the cons. Also thinking the game library is better for you, doesn't make it an overall better library. In fact you pretty much listed everything a fanboy would list. So maybe -you- should try harder?

IMHO there isnt any "CLEAR' winner this gen... Its the first one and i hope the last one...

1) Wii : great sales , 2-3 great 1st party 'kiddy' image games, some good 3rd party here and there , no online capablties, no HD , really low spec console where most 3rd party developers wont release their games on.

2)X360: RRoD problems , great games overall but after some time they find their way on PC at even better versions , good online , Hd-dvd died ( hope you didnt purchased Hd-dvd back then ),gain some power EX-Ps3 exclusives games.

3)PS3 : to expensive at start , with some big flops around (Lair-Haze) , lost many great "sony" exclusives games, except MGS4 most of the awesome Sony games arent out yet , considering how many "years" is out is unacceptable to me. But things getting better now.

Now i gave you some simple reasons what i beleive (NO facts ) for each system. Didnt want to go to big explanations since most of you get what i mean. The thing is , no... There isnt any clear winner yet. All 3 got some ++ but alot of - too.. So for a clearly winner , i think we have to wait till the end of this gen. Yeap...

Really, what I'm getting from this that MGSIV has now set the standard for the rest of the PS3 games to follow. Really, imo, MGSIV proved that with patience and hardwork, a PS3 game can deliver, it just takes not being lazy and going the easy road.

While I do think the PS3 has had a momentum increase, it's still not any where close to claiming the console king title. It still needs to get better sales, and a more diverse library. THe future does look brighter though.

IMHO there isnt any "CLEAR' winner this gen... Its the first one and i hope the last one...

On the games, and on-line I have no comment. I do not own a PS3 and cannot judge it without being at least a little bias. The Blu-ray argument is horrible. How many people own an HDTV? Even if you do, the difference is not worth the money. I do not like the idea of paying $400 + for a HDTV, just so I can see a pimple on an actresses face, or a few extra blades of grass. Blu-ray definitely did win the format war, but we won't see the benefits for a few years. By then it will be time for the new gen. (By benefits I mean people really starting to switch from SD to HD, and all of that good stuff.)Then there is "for a good cause." like I really want to help rich kids get richer. Standford is one of the leading schools in the country, do you know how much tuition is? I will put my money is some other crap, like save the whales or something.
