My GTX 970 died so i replaced it with a GTX 1080....

Which made me buy a 1440 p monitor (not a fancy 144Hz , but a nice 32" 60Hz, which is enough for my gaming practices)

It happened just after i ordered my new Gaming Chair ( Arozzi Vernazza)

Also changed all my peripherals (keyboard, mouse, headset, i even replaced my old 360 gamepads with a pair of X One Wireless pads ) , and i took a huge (120x50 cm) Mionix Alioth mousepad

that was for 2017

2018 , well for now i only plan ( and need to buy) a additionnal HDD as mine start to lack space ...will add 4 To and i'll be good

And...well , that's all, time to save some money for maybe a trip in USA in 2019....

@HalcyonScarlet: ? It seems when it comes to space you can never have enough.

True. 250GBs is enough for me because I run all my games and store all my files on secondary internal and external HDDs. :-)

Okay, another update: got my i7 8700K in midweek, but couldn't find the cooler. No matter; I had it in my hands a week before, but couldn't buy it then because I was buying so much of other things. So when I spotted a 6TB WD Black HDD, I snapped it up instead even though I wasn't due to upgrade it until mid-year. I just thought; "eh, what the Hell."

So, I tried my luck at the IT stores, and found my motherboard and RAMs. I was shooting for 2 x 16GB, but all they had were ones with LED crap with prices that made my eyes water, so I settled for 2 x 8GB instead. I didn't find my case, but did find a place to order one.

I'll pick up the cooler in midweek, and hopefully, fingers crossed, have my case by Thursday. Then I'll get building.

Finally upgraded to an SSD. Massive improvement to my system's performance. Should have done this year's ago, but 1 TB SSDs weren't affordable then.

I'll wait for the 11xx series before upgrading GPU.

No, but I did smash my PC, buy an Xbox One X, and upgraded my Home Theater
