That statement goes for ALL platforms. That is why this generation has been the year of multiplatforms. Your piracy statement doesn't go with your argument as your alluding piracy is only a problem on Pc which it is not.

Keep in mind, pc exclusives do not need to spend the millions on ads, have huge corporation backing a game up, and can make huge profits without needing to sell 4 million copies (example) to break even. Its all about perspective.

First up, im a long time lurker, just recently signed up, been reading the PC v console discussion for a while now, seems its brought weekly, so i'll offer to bring up this weeks. So anyways if you think about it, it's only PC gamers who consider PC gaming to be "good", you know how they say, "people dont know about gaming, you can get a perfectly good PC for $500" or something like that. Hipsters, love to deem whats "cool" to now, you know it's funny how the only people who think gaming on a PC is good....are PC gamers, everyone else recognizes how bad it is....kinder like being a hipster. In fact i'd go as far as saying PC gaming, lowers I.Q, and is an anti social channel of gaming. Your a foot away from your PC....that isn't relaxing, that's uncomfortable. There is absolutely no need for PC gaming, there is nothing good about it. Console - $250: More games Better online Better community Not snobs and elitists PC - $600 Cant play games on max Less games Lack of community Multiplayer games are ghost towns Elitist nerds and snobs from private schools Huge egos Now seriously...why would anyone game on a PC, other than trying to go against the "mainstream" ie being a hipster, you people are bluffing yourselves. PC gaming is pretty damn bad, there are no good variety of games, only MMO's or annoying FAILbook games, the truth is though, you'd have more games if you weren't pirates.CODMan2014

Now, it does say Portal 2 sold better on consoles, but to be fair here, Portal is an established franchise on PC, aswell as many PC gamers seem to have a love affair with valve games.CODMan2014

What he has stated is that a developer should not make a Pc exclusive because its a waste of money and can make more money on consoles. To back his claim up, he gives us a link of a multiplatform game where no numbers were stated but one game did better on consoles and where another did better on Pc. Summation is that developer should make multiplatforms and forgo the money on Pc because its money they do not want? So confused on that one. lol.

The only reason Portal 2 sold better on PC, was because its an established PC franchise, and basically new to console gamers.CODMan2014

That's great. If I want it I'll play it on my consoles. I think many PC gamers here also own consoles, although they prefer to game on the PC.
