[QUOTE="airraido"]1. So much hassle getting games to run at optimum levels 2. So many glitches, patches and general BS that goes along with it. 3. Sitting alone, hunched over infront of a monitor can never compare to relaxing on your sofa and enjoying a game on your bigscreen plasma with friends. 4. Mouse and Keyboard were never an intended interface for gaming. 5. Buy a new rig, it's good for a couple years then it's dated for the latest games. 6. PC gaming is in such a dire state that devs don't even bother trying to push the envelope in terms of graphics anymore. Crysis was there last serious effort to pump alot of finances into 'teh graphics', but it flopped in sales, third parties saw this and decided not to attempt games like Crysis anymore, as a result a game that came out on the PC two years ago is still the best looking. people may say "But you could hook it up to a TV and play on a sofa... and you could hook up a controller to it..." in the end they dont do it tho... i have never seen 1 PC gamer that did. however these are the prices to pay for optimal gamingbut i still play my ps3, after quitting Pc
Who cares if you've never seen anyone do it? The option is still there. Saying "I've never seen anyone do it..." doesn't invalidate the argument.
I PC game on my sofa. I play the Crysis games, Bioshock, GRID, Dead Space, Burnout Paradise using a 360 controller. For games that use a keyboard and mouse, i just place the KB on my lap, and the mouse resides next to me on a box. I sit back and put my feet up on the coffe table. very comfortable. I game on a 54 in plasma tv in 1080p. I made my pc as a dedicated gaming pc for my entertainment set up. I watch blu rays, dvds, stream netflix, browse the internet, and play games all from the comfort of my couch just like a console. I get great 5.1 and 7.1 audio too. It is easy to do.
