I'm PC all the way and while I have in the past took a break from PC to jump ship with console gaming, I ultimately make my way back to PC. Especially now, since I've been gaming on 4K 60 frames for almost 2 months now and I absolutely love it. I've bought and sold consoles so many times, I'm an impulse buyer...lol. PC is what I tend to always go back too. It's got the visuals that I seek, highest possible settings I can throw at and just in awe enjoy the game and immerse myself. Most of my friends play on PC. Communicating with them is easy, having a group of us on Discord as we jump from Battlegrounds to Rainbow Six: Siege or even switch it up and play some Dead by Daylight or Duck Game...lol.
What is interesting and something I notice @sovkhan above me posts is the types of genres to play towards a specific system. I've been noticing this lately with myself personally as well. For some reason, I much rather play single player games on consoles...lol. I enjoy the ease of use, the comfort, the achievement/trophies which are far better implemented than how Steam does it. With this strange observation I've noticed within me, I've decided to re-purchase another console to have alongside my PC. The decision is tough though...
I'm torn between the Switch or Playstation Pro. I do love the JRPG's that Playstation offers and they do have a solid line-up of single-player games. I remember playing Horizon and never beating the game, thought it was pretty damn cool and still to this day think it's the best looking console game I've ever played. Persona 5 is a big hitter that I would love to jump into since I've heard nothing but good things and I'm looking forward to Ni No Kuni 2.
As for the Nintendo Switch, you got Breath of the Wild which I was dumb enough to only play the first hour or so and never really dug into the game. Would love to give this a proper second chance. Super Mario Odyssey looks great as well as Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle coming soon.
Right now, I give a slight edge to the Playstation Pro because of trophies, which I know are dumb to some but to me I enjoy collecting achievements/trophies in games. Gives me more replay value to feel like I personally completed the game 110%. Again, I know I can pick up the Switch since Nintendo games don't see the light of day on PC and grab those JRPG's on Steam, Ni No Kuni 2 as well, and wait until those rumors of Persona 5 & Yakuza coming to PC but again, I just have this habit and preference of playing single-player games on console, my own personal experience to just sit back, relax, and enjoy.
