That is still VERY much lower the the concepts many people make in System wars on pc pricing. Wasn't the xbox arcade 14000 up to premium of 28000 with 2 games and ps3 26000+ on both perspective releases in your country?

Poor support, what are we even talking about?
Absolutely nothing is wrong with PC gaming. There's nothing wrong with console gaming. The only kind of gaming that is bad is no gaming at all.
Nothing's wrong with PC gaming. Now, if you'd like to know what's wrong with PC gamers, here's a great example:
Yep, it's absolutely due to financial or intellectual deficiencies. Nope, it couldn't be that people just have a different opinion from you. I still play some PC games, but I'm very careful to refer to myself as a consolite because I don't want to be even remotely associated with people like this guy.People will always bash what they can't/don't have or what they don't understand.

Upgrading is fun, but not when you have to do it for every game to play smoothly.
Its also no fun being left in the dust when it comes to getting worth while games, worse is getting scraps in the form of badly coded ports.

Well you don't... you can lower settings if your PC can't handle it.
There's plenty of worthwhile games on PC, comon! I played plenty of "ports" and there just as great if not better.
Do you mean their release launch price? Anyway PC is still expensive. That is still VERY much lower the the concepts many people make in System wars on pc pricing. Wasn't the xbox arcade 14000 up to premium of 28000 with 2 games and ps3 26000+ on both perspective releases in your country?

[QUOTE="Advid-Gamer"]Here is the second most sensible poster in this thread. ;) Thank You ^_^ This generations consoles are all about things that pc gamers have enjoyed for some time. FPS, online (services), HD, and having sku's to chose from are all things that i considered pc attributes, and that are, imo, still superior on pc's. Look at any hardware. You want topnotch headphones, You're going to pay a lot for it. High quality mouse? Costs 3 times as much as a regular one. It's normal to pay a lot more for high end gaming, so the price was never really an argument. But now they see that many PC things are happening on their consoles. So PC is for the first time in a relatively weakened state, while in reality, consoles are just becoming more like pc's.Nothing, this is systems wars, people come here to spout BS because there are board. All systems are worth owning.
Xeros606
@neburian_weaver Yes I mean on release of the perspective consoles.
Pc's can be expensive but only if you want it to be but it can also be extremely cheap. It all depends what you want.
In system wars, when people start to throw out "expensive", many concur with statements that its 1000's and 1000's of dollars. Infact, like 3 days ago it happen where someone came in spitting on a thread that you need a 6 grand computer and would have to upgrade every 6 months. Its these types of BAD stereotypes and ignorance that just seems to grow like a disease on system wars. You also have the opposite of the spectrum where people who have expensive rigs spout bad statements to those with mid range 500-700 dollar rigs and that there is no way to enjoy gaming on a mid range computer.
The launch price was 28,500 pesos ($568). Can you give me a PC that is cheaper than that price and then built on the same date that it was released, also that can play games like Just Cause 2, Metro, Singularity; I don't think so ;)@neburian_weaver Yes I mean on release of the perspective consoles.

People are too lazy to learn how their computer works.Vexx88this, im not going to learn how a computer works just to play games. Consoles are so much easier. plus the keyboard sucks.

I can't but all I can do is tell you my personal experience on my gaming rig which started in 2007. It started at 450 dollars US ( or 20481 php) for me and slowly moved up to about 600 dollars in last 3 years of upgrading (27309 php). I think I have already mentioned to you that though on price though. I have metro 2033, just cause 2 but don't have singularity and they run just fine on my PC.
Please no "I don't think so" or motocons. No need for any of that. I've mentioned this stuff to you several times on system wars. Infact, I mentioned the evolution of my computer earlier in this thread.

Giving out opinions =/= bashing. Usually people bash so they can justify their purchase as to why they bought this system and not the other so as far as I know having an opinion was never a reason for bashing. I don't have a PS3 because imo its exclusive do not justify a purchase for me doesn't mean I can go bash the PS3 or any other console for that matter. Well that my idea of bashing. Care to share yours?

Yeah, in Brazil a PS3 costs like $1,000 US. That's why they have that PS2-level Zeebo console down there, and that thing still costs $200+ and doesn't even have a disk drive, it's all Wi-Fi or 3G downloads.

No its not expensive compared to consoles.. And the second part is a matter of convience.. I can claim for instance computer gaming is far more convient because you already use the device for just about everything else.

If you're going for slightly above console quality, then it sure is.
If we're talking a really high end rig, then sure. It's going to take a while before the price equals out.
While it's more expensive in price, PC's are still cheaper in value for gaming.[QUOTE="i5750at4Ghz"]It's not cheaper or more convienent imo. washd123
ok? your opinion is wrong then.
This is why people bash systems. Because of ignorant fanboys like you.
Sure, you like your system and prefer it over others, but how can you call someone's opinion wrong just because you don't agree with it? That's why it's called an opinion (put wiki in there just in case).
Just because you think so doesn't make you right.
Oh and, don't call me a 360 faboy, or a PS3 fanboy or whatever.
I don't own any consoles and I've always been gaming on PC.
The only major problem with PC gaming is the difficulty developers and publishers have protecting their intellectual property on the platform; which, in turn, forces legitimate customers to often deal with restrictive DRM.

It's not so much the limited install issue that bugs me, personally, because most companies do provide de-authorization tools... but what happens when the online servers for authentication shut down? Will the game be officially patched so as to not require authentication, or will the game simply become forgotten and unplayable -- especially if the game wasn't particular popular? One of the greatest benefits of PC gaming its expansive gaming library dating back to the '80s, but will today's games still be playable without "cracking" or "hacking" in the future (which is a criminal act according to the DMCA)?People make too big of a deal out of DRM. PC gaming is fine. I assure you. Nothing anyone says here will change that. Nor can PC gamers in denial change that many games will be multiplat or that people like consoles. And seriously. Still like console gaming more.
I know all about its potential and what computers can do and what their made for but I'm also aware of what consoles do and why they are made and what they represent.
And you are "a lot of consolities around here"
Just because you like console gaming does not mean there aren't lots of people in system wars who bash PC gaming (typically without even experiencing one).Which is what the TC is talking about.
