You are right. Undertale was reviewed on Nov 20th, which is more than just over 2 months.

to be fair he didn't say it released in the last two months...only that it was reviewed.

Well then, clearly the problem lies with Gamespot reviewing PC games too slowly.
I didn't pad any lists. Everything I stated in the OP is true.

Yeah, hehe, that is my main concern with this game as well. Braid was very puzzle based too, but I consider myself good at 2D platformers (thanks mario !)

Dirt Rally is coming to console....and if it is niche...it's barely one.
And I never said anyone should stop making games just b/c they're niche.
I'm just pointing out where I see it....which is possibly a solid viewpoint.

Gaming is a bunch of niches bundled together.
What isn't a niche ? Fifa, Madden, Call of Duty, Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, Clash of Titans... In other words: a small minority of games.
Calling a realistic rally game barely a niche ? Do you like making up your own definitions ?

Those games sell as much as they do b/c of the amount of ppl who play on PC/Steam.
Dirt Rally is a premier racing game. The same ppl who buy your COD, AC, Farcry and more popular games would consider buying Dirt before Homeworld or any of the others you mention.

Rally games are a small segment of racing games, realistic rally games are a small segment of rally games. How on earth is that not niche ?

i bet more people will be playing Xcom 2 than Dirt Rally on consoles. Firaxis games cultivate huge communities on PC.
Homeworld is just as big a name to the RTS genre as Dirt is to the Racing genre

PC is popular because it covers the most niches. Yet, it also constantly gets big games like Just Cause or Rise of The Tomb Raider. Why are consoles not in the same league ? They've been out for over 2 years now and they can't compete with PC's last 2 years.
Is that dragon cancer even a game? It's just a bunch of interactive sequences of memories and events that you click on. I loved the experience but as a game it fails. Again I loved it but it's also on the ouya too.
And Undertale released in September last year and got reviewed like two months ago. I agree PC is the better system overall but this list is lacking I feel.
