PC version of Dark Soul is possible!

PC gamers don't like JRPGS thats why there aren't many on PC

This is more like a WRPG, it just comes from Japan. Demons Souls feels like it should be a PC game, and I am sure Dark Souls is no different.

Why bother? You want it, buy a plastic box, it's not like they're expensive. Don't see the need to make a fuss to try to get ports of games like this one.

I have it on ps3 but it would be nice to see the game run on a playable framerate.

It would be good for the versatility of the platform, but personally, I wouldn't get this game.

I never heard any hermits say anything other than "sucks it's not on the PC" about Dark Souls. Me included.

Actually since everyone would have played it on xbox 360 and PS3, would be the ultimate failure in sales

Not really sure what you're getting at there. I can't speak for all Hermits, but Dark Souls seems to me like one of the few highly-desirable console-exclusive RPGs.

Anyway, if they put it on Steam it would get decent sales. Complex RPGs sell well on the PC, particularly in Europe.

He's a 360 fanboy and one of his favorite things is to brag to hermits that they dont't get Dark Souls. He's just upset that we might.

I would love it, but I never had too much hope on petitions. Plus, I already have this game on the 360, so...

But if it comes to the PC it's a day 1 buy none the less.

nah it maybe have some western touch but when you play it, it still have feeling of JRPG

The only kind of "hate" I've seen to this game was from the Skyrim faction, and even then, it wasn't as severe as other kinds of hate.

It's no different than the people who wanted Starcraft 2, Diablo III, Witcher 2, Crysis, STALKER, and others on consoles.

I was always quite baffled why it wasn't ported. The game is very well suited to PC gamers tastes. And you can bet in continental Europe it would easily outsell any console version.

That said, I doubt very much this will happen. If interest is high enough then at most I can see them consider it for Dark Souls 2.

Yes, but console gamers actually would like to play those games because they believe they are good games. More often than not, the large majority of pc gamers tend to write off the entire console experience--"you're doing it wrong"--in regards to playing games on consoles.

Browsing around, Namco seems to be set on expanding to the PC. Ridge Racer Unbounded is also going to be available for the PC. So perhaps, there is a chance Dark Souls PC may happen after all.

I would play it if it was on PC, the console versions can't handle it's awsome.

This could be perhaps the game that will finally make me upgrade my PC, i have it on PS3 but i won't deny that Dark Souls would be amazing on the PC...i can already see that Castlevania mod...and of course that nude mod :o :P

I've already beaten it on PS3, but I wouldn't mind a PC port to make it HD,mods, and have Blighttown finally not have FPS drops.

Screw Mods, I'd prefer to play Dark souls with a framerate that doesn't leave me curled up in a corner spasming.

Saying that doesn't automatically make them right. I don't think the 4 - 5 "specific" individuals here make up enough to be a majority. I'd personally like to see a PC version just so I can play it without the terrible framerate it has. Me saying that has nothing to do with "elitism."

I didn't believe Blighttown was that bad...after i tried to pass the damn area for 2 days i was like...OMG i never want to go back here!!! However, i really liked the boss battle.

All Namco would do is port the XBox 360 version to the PC. I doubt anything new would be added to it. Namco wouldn't waste the money to do that. They know it won't sell much on the PC.

800k is a real big stretch, and 200k would be worth the investment anyway. This isn't a very high budget game.

Dark Souls is one of the few games from console I would like on PC.

The graphics upgrade alone would make it at least 500% better than the console version (minimum, could be like 600% even).

I would even go out on a limb and say the PC version would be better than all console games ever made combined.
