PC version of Dark Soul is possible!

Has about as much chance as a Wii version coming out. Extremely slim or not at all. The game sold 1.3 million copies on consoles. The demand for a PC version would be below 200K no doubt. All Namco would do is port the XBox 360 version to the PC. I doubt anything new would be added to it. Namco wouldn't waste the money to do that. They know it won't sell much on the PC. XanderZane

Now, I don't think it will happen, but it would be cool. The game's isn't worth buying a whole console for it, so for many people if it won't be ported they will simply never play it.

But the game is different then most jrpgs. It plays more like a WRPG then a JRPG so maybe it could work. I'm not a huge fan of jrpgs but I liked Dark Souls a lot.

I'll be honest, I'm guilty of being a troll here, to elitists, so I may have maybe made fun of them for ignorant statements or having a sweet gaming PC but not spending $200 on a console to play an amazing game like Red Dead Redemption.

Truth is, I don't feel that way. I don't think the not terrible PC gamers should miss out on such an amazing game, Dark Souls is the sort of amazing hardcore game that I can see PC audiences embracing, while the modding potential and community features just make it shocking this isn't the biggest thing on Steam right now.

This is an amazing game, and I'm sure PC gamers can probably appreciate the game's complexity more without complaining about difficulty like so many n00bs I hear tend to do when they expect a breezy dark Zelda or whatever it looked like to them. Here's hoping Namco pulls through, and if it offers additional features or mod support, I might be willing to get it at a $20 price point and replay it once great mods kick in.

Though like I said before, unless it gets giant globs of mod content (and since From is trying to maintain the world they built, mod support is unlikely when even DLC isn't even a factor), then I'm not shelling out for what is essentially the same game, but prettier when I already own it, though I'd still be happy my fellow PC gaming audience could enjoy it on their platform of choice.

Though loosingENDS is just a terrible person, I do get kind of mystified at PC audiences clamoring for console games.

To be honest, it doesn't really seem like the same situation as with PS3 or Xbox or Wii owners. Those guys might not be able to afford the other system or something, but I always felt like wanting RDR or Dark Souls and not having a single cheap PS3 or Xbox from the last 6 years is just odd, especially if they're the type to upgrade every 2 years (though I can understand people who are still chugging along on 8800 GT's this gen and don't really spend a crap ton on gaming as it is).

Ugh... agreeing with loosinENDS on something is like agreeing with Paris Hilton on matters of science. Its an affront to humanity, and I just did it. I'll go die now I guess.

Dark Souls is like a small budget PC exclusive DD only title was allotted a big budget after the success of its predecessor, thus the sort of rare wet dream mix of hardcore indie and big budget hugeness a PC fanatic dreams about.

Its complex, its difficult, its incredibly strategic and skill intensive, and its got a host of great unique online features and is just completely immersive and beautiful (and graphics whoring is like, a thing that PC gamers do if you didn't notice).

Dark Souls not being on PC is like a big budget arcadey military/sci fi FPS not being on Xbox 360. It just BELONGS there man.
