Pc + Wii = best combination

because you can have lots of exclusive games (Pc+Wii) + best multiplats (PC) and you only miss out on a few good titles released by ms and sony each year.

but I want to play Halo...oh wait..

Throw in a PS3 and a DS and I agree.

It's actually a very tough decision for me between PS3 + Wii or PC + Wii.

PS3 has some really great exclusives and a bunch of multiplats I've been interested in playing. At the same time, PC has Diablo III and Starcraft II..so...

I think that I should go with c) PS3+Wii+PC = 1337. Final answer.

EDIT: Let's throw a DS in there too while we're at it. :P

Not for me, if anything, I hardly play PC and Wii exclusives, I play more 360 and PS3 exclusives.

But thankfully I did what lundy did and got those 4 systems, now I can't miss a damn game.:D

Right now Wii Sports and NSMBare taking over for me, as the GF has found the Wii to be a worthwhile purchase.

forget at all the lowly one or two console owners out there.

They need a taste of the real freedom of a Manticore to select any game and play of their choosing without having to worry about exclusitivity, DLCs, graphics, users online, bragging rights etc....

Do you mean Hardcore or Mainstream?

As a PC gamer I am happy to play the ocasional Mainstream title, but also lots of the Niche, Retro and Indie titles. Many of which are actually more appealing to the Casual audience than Mainstream games, but to be honest, having been gaming for 27 years or so, Niche, Retro and Indie are far more 'hardcore' than the epic Mainstream Frag Fests I also enjoy.

The Wii brings Niche, Retro and Indie into the living room.

Not that the PS360 don't have NRI titles. But they are lagging behind the curve on this one.

The PC and the Wii share pointer controls. Share a more natural spread hands gaming position. Share low development costs for new developers. The whole mainstream gaming paradigm we see now came from PC shareware development. What we are seeing with the Wii and some of the most interesting PC Mods and NRI titles is the birth of a new paradigm shift.

The iPhone is doing its part too. Some of those casual iPhone games are deeply innovative, niche, and truely 'hardcore' to beat. The games are however short and cheap. This has to be the future for gaming.
