PC Wins 2012, Xbox 360 second place, 3DS third place; PS3 not even in Top 3

And when you consider how few PC titles Gamespot actually reviews it makes it all the more sweeter.

It seems like not a day goes by when the PC doesn't have something new to play.

Planet side 2 easily trumps any game on the console lists. I was in the beta and it was intense. With the new release of it today I had EASILY seen battles of 500+ players at a time, nothing but constant explosions and death everywhere.

I would like to inform you that it would logically follow that if the PS3 was not in first place, second place, or third place, it is not in the top 3.

As for the scores, I don't consider expansion packs(PC), downloadable games(360,PS3) to be on par with full releases.

Do iPhone/iPad games count in this metagame?

Because that makes Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP a multiplat. Similar case with Hero Academy (Though, I believe the PC version has additional features over the iPhone/iPad version).

I mean, like really was there any doubt? I would think that anyone with common sense and a brain would know that the PC was the clear winner once again.

Well, as you can see from the 2012 totals, PC gaming has more than a little wiggle room. One title either way doesn't even move the needle.

And if your crystal ball prediction fails and GTAV PC does hit next year, well that's just icing on the cake.

Guild Wars 2
Natural Selection 2
Tribes: Ascend
World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria

4 out of 36 games = most games:roll:

What's the point of this thread? It's not as if it changed my life and convinced me to sell my PS3 and go out and buy a 360.

Yep, as allways PC > 360 > PS3, and we aren't even counting PC/360 multiplats like The Witcher 2, Minecraft and alan Wake AN!
