PC wins this gen, gg consoles

I couldn't get along with out my computer.

however I couldn't game with only my computer because I wan't more than MMOs.

Anything else ....well...MMOS are awesome but you have to have more.

RTS are a niche - but - not fore me - I want something I can sink my teeth into.

We have epic turn based strategy games (CivIV + expansions), who needs it in our RPG's (JRPGs)?

i'm just saying that those are the genres that the pc is lacking in. civ iv is good but it doesn't have the drama or storytelling of a decent rpg.

We argueable have the best WRPG's also....

PC wins every gen in terms of most amount of quality titles and exclusives. Best controls (KB/Mouse), best online, best devs (IMO anyway), most titles, largest variety, etc.

PC gaming is that good. :)

You are either very ill informed or very ignorant if you honestly believe that MMO's are the only thing available on PC.

It's funny to read the PC camp's comments and heck, before my 360 I was saying the same things. If you give the 360/PS3 a honest chance, you might surprise yourself. Like clone01 I can list quite a few reasons why I prefer my 360 to my PC. The major ones are:

1) I pay one time for the 360 while I have to keep paying to upgrade my PC so I can play on the best settings. Even then your not guranteed a smooth gameplay.. cough Crysis cough.

2) No lame DRM that messed up my PC or having to call the publisher so they can 'unlock' one of my installs.

3) With friends, easier MP. Pop in the game, go to your friend's list and send a invite, done. No having to tell each other IP's or name of servers, no messing around with port forwarding, no wondering if the game supports voice chat.

I'm still looking forward to some PC exclusives but I would choose the 360 over the PC any day.

PC has already won this gen. easly. With the best multiplats and most 3rd party support = easy win.

1) My last PC lasted me for 4 years and while I didn't play every new game there was on the highest settings, I could play them on a decent setting that still looked better than anything consoles had to offer. Same thing with this PC I bought a year ago.

2) I buy computer games all the time and this has never happened to me.

3) OH NO TELLING YOUR IP TO SOMEONE IS SO HARD. Seriously it takes me like 10 seconds at most to do that. Dumb lazy people. And there's a thing called Ventrilo that me and my friends use all the time. It's 100 times better than the dumb voice chats you get on consoles.

Sorry I'd take the PC any day over consoles.

According to Capcom DMC4 was a flop in terms of sales. They said the game was pirated to hell and back and sales were disappointing. Hermits said the game was a console game so they didn't buy it.

In terms of slaes DMC4 was a flop for Capcom and they even said so. They said the game was pirated to hell and back and sales were disappointing.

CapCom wasn't specific on how bad DMC4 was pirated. They're using piracy as more of a scapegoat instead of an actual reason. Piracy DID contribute, but a few other things as well:

It decided to go retail only and it didn't even fill up in all of the stores in NA. They don't even bother to have the game available on Steam where sales would've been great.

They also released the game when most of the people had it already and stopped caring about the game.

Wasn't the English release of that game cancelled years ago? I would never pay a monthly fee to play a fighter and the non MMO version of the game is on the Xbox.

This thread is full of bias. Why have consoles in the tittle when it should be other systems. Only limiting this one equaly as fanboish as the PC vs Consoles threads.

Even if you changed the tittle, this gen isnt over. And once a wise old hermit said to me, "PC's dont have gens, only consoles!" So why would the mighty PC be wanting to be compared to the "rubbish" consoles and want to be part of Their war? IDK.. But to me, if a PC do not have gens, then perhaps it can not win the war that the other systems are in. maybe its just me seeing these things.

You know what you are right but that would never stop hermits. This is system wars and the PC is included even though we all have one. The 360 vs PS3 I can understand since most own either one.

Melty Blood and Guilty Gear have both been on PC as well as various SFs. Most of these are late ports though and you better sticking to consoles for fighters as they'll get more current and frequent releases. Controls aren't really an issue as I use the same arcade stick for pretty much any platform via adapter.
