Petition to bring GTA V to Wii U is almost at 5,500 signatures

Wii U has a tiny install base, and most Wii U owners are casuals, kids or families, its hardly a hardcore console.

I think people should stop using that phrase when they don't know what it actually means. (original meaning is "tough game", not "M-rated game with realistic graphics")

5500? So just about every wii u owner on the planet. Still wont happen.

Meanwhile the "I'm happy with the PS3/360 version" petition is at about 16 million signatures and rising.

True, with over $1 billion in 3 days. I don't think that will happen with the PC, PS4 & Xbox One versions combined. :lol:

I just have a question. Have ANY Nintendo game console every had a GTA game on it before?

The chances of the Wii U getting GTA V on it is "None". "Slim" never had a chance.

Also if it launched at the same time I would've purchased the Wii U version but I wouldn't sign a petition to bring the games over if it happens I will be happy; If it doesn't I can still play it on other systems.

Rockstar could just make a low-budget GTA game for the Wii U. One character to choose from (Michael, with the other two later as DLC) and a slightly lower detailed Los Santos from the current version, something that won't tax the lol CPU too much. They can call it apptly "GTA V WiiU" and it would sell an amazing(-ly underwhelming) 5,500 copies and everyone's happy. Well, it probably wouldn't make a profit for Rock* but at least Wii U gamers would be happy. Sorta.
