He also spoke about it on his YouTube podcast The Xbox 2. He was dejected that we get this news but not more of what Xbox's actual road map is. As most of us are and we get constant threads like this started over and over.

Either way this investment is a move that further does cement that they will be in the gaming business for a long time into the future.

I hate that Xbox is so hell bent on always waiting until E3 to tell us anything, and even then it's still not usually enough and leaves much to speculation, which is great for pundits and Web boards like this.

It's more likely that Valve buys the Xbox division from Microsoft than Microsoft buying Valve.

Biggest ownage in SW history will be if MS doesn't have games at E3 again, this year. It was do-or-die last year, but at least the scorpio was a light at the end of the tunnel for Lems to talk about. I can see the echo chamber being crushed like an aluminum can if we get smoke and mirrors this year, though.

Honestly, they need to give me a reason to dust off my X1 before I sell it for pennies on the dollar and clear up some space on my TV unit. I'm happy MS supports PC with most of their titles because I don't need redundant hardware sitting around.
