Nope and that's weak, especially for Nintendo, whom have been weak some time now.

Great news.

Still, just saying Zelda and Pikmin are coming isn't enough. Obviously Nintendo hasn't stopped making more traditional games completely. We need something on the horizon, because these games are likely a long ways off.

Still awesome though, I love the first two.

That's a pretty big spin you've put on it. Obviously Nintendo wasn't going to kill the Mario and Zelda franchises, and the teams that work on them are always making the next one.

Without a trailer or demo or even an "official" announcement, these are still a loong way off.

And somehow God of War 3 with a few seconds of CGI matters more, since its more then a title, nintendo is ALWAYS working on zelda, mario, etc, the point is actually seeing some of what they've done, announcements don't matter when it was obvious they were working on such titles.

Though if the next mario is Galaxy 2, innovation truely is dead.

Well, what did we think the Zelda and Mario teams were working on? I don't see how it's good news to be told, "It's in development." Twilight Princess made huge news when it was shown even though everyone knew another Zelda was inevitable.

since when has the zelda team ver stopped working on making zelda games/ Just because miyamoto comes out and says 'they are working" doesnt mean anything at all. The whole world knew nintendo was oging to make a new zelda, or did you think they had stopped after TP?

Because of what he said and did before hand, He might be playful, but he's not a joker. I have no doubt they are making Pikman 3, it could be awhile off though. And it could be a DS game.
