Planetside 2 launches on PC, featuring up to 2000 players in each battle...

Question:-

How's the gameplay specially the shooting mechanics?

Also is there teamwork involved or you end up running on your own most of the time? (i know teamwork depends on how players approach the game, but when joining a game does it throw you in with a small team of other players, or randomly on your own)

As for teamwork, you can go lone wolf if you'd like, but chances are you won't get much done, if anything. Capturing even remote locations seems nearly impossible without a squad, and major bases take a full platoon or multiple platoons to take.

The more posts i read on this game the more i get interested..

Currently downloading.. 61% its quite slow when it comes to downloading.. probably due to heavy traffic on Steam..

It's pretty ok. I think it gets better as you understand it better and get more weapons and stuff.
So far I'm liking Tribes:Ascend more than this.

Well unlike Mag, this game actually is fun and not riddled with lag, bad framerates, and horrid graphics (unless you're running some 3 year old AMD machine).

Ugh, 8 hours since beta, still cant stand the gunplay, simply atroucious, performance isn't good considering the game looks like ass
