And the question still stands, why talk down to someone about a game they like when you yourself care enough of one of those games to play against the bots of all things.
lol. This is just getting sad. Yes, I played Black Ops on PC when it was free on Steam for a weekend and I tried the multiplayer. That obviously means I love Call of Duty and I can't poke fun at a COD fan.Read the edit.

I understand how PSN could get his jimmies rustled (although he wouldn't in that respect), but why are you so bothered that I poked fun at him being a COD fan that you took the time to look through all of my Steam screenshots and then went on some high-horse mantra that someone can't poke fun at someone because I created just one screenshot of an offline multiplayer match which somehow negates anything I said (lol)? If it because you're butthurt that I find Planetside 2 to be trash, or are you butthurt that I poked fun at a COD fan? Are you that invested in a product that a simple opinion gets your balls all twisted? So many questions.Tutorial is different from the main game, it's aimed at introducing content at a slow, and easy to grasp pace--it doesn't aim at bringing entertainment. I jumped straight into the game, and it wasn't fun. If the main game can't nail at least 30 seconds of fun in 15 minutes of multiplayer action, then the game is sh*t.Maybe you could elaborate on what you didn't like, instead of just thinking of so many creative ways to say you hated it? i might be able to help him with that, A. you get into a stalemate, 3+ hours of the game go by without moving an inch, it's like playing CoD in a bottle neck with 400 other people, you either find a cheap point to camp and start mowing people down, or just continuously respawn rush B. You find no one, and spend a good 20+ minutes finding a good fight to join C. You join a pro platoon, steam roll everything, which actually isn't fun because because a pile of dead bodies isn't much resistance after 30 seconds into the fight, while 50 people camp the last spawn poitn for the next 10 mins for a cap D. your on the other end of a zerge trying to find a good hiding place from all the tanks and bombers The large scale battles are interesting to watch but actually playing the game can get stale pretty quickly, due to the amount of time it takes to find a good steady fight, and one that's dynamic enough that the players move around the base fluidly. Theres just too many people and it's too likely your moving from base to base too much, or standing withing the same 30 sqaure ft for 6 hours fighting over a generator.[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"][QUOTE="Wasdie"]

That's my only grip about PS2, I have a 3 1/2 year old computer and GD sometimes I drop into the single FPS depending on the scale of the battles. Still an awesome game though when there's no lag.

you can buy better weapons within certain types that are selected for your class
armor, you can buy upgrades which you'll only be able to use one or two at the same time.

lol at all you hermits not being able to handle someone not liking the game. Stevo just said a little comment and every hermit under the sun is mad.
I think they're more on his case because he clearly didn't give the game any chance at all. For instance where he complains about needing to hike for 15 minutes to find a fight. Well, no, you can buy vehicles and aircraft, or just use the instant action function to redeploy right to the major battles in seconds. Those are some of the most basic functions in the game. I'd question if he even played it at all just based on that.lol at all you hermits not being able to handle someone not liking the game. If this is the case then I guess he's wrong. Still, a lot of people can't handle any criticsm of the game. If anything, Stevo's comment shows that PS2 might not make the best first impressions.

It will be frustrating until you learn the game, and that may take awhile. You need to understand all of the gameplay mechanics and then understand how players will react to situations. A lot of it is just understanding where the battles are going to happen, and how to be a meaningful part of that.
That takes a lot more time.
This isn't game for ADD gamers. If you're someone who easily gets frustrated, look elsewhere. If you can use your brain and have a decent rig, welcome to one of the greatest shooting experiences ever created.

I also find it funny that the launcher for the game has TUTORIALS CLICK HERE written in massive letters when you open it.
To anyone struggling to find the 'fun' in PS2, realize the game map is an entire continent with thousands of players, you'll need to join a squad or platoon and get to the action from your map (battles are marked on it). Don't go running for the action, you'll be there for days walking. Grab an ATV or a truck and find the zerg rush
