Player Unknown is 30fps "Only on XB1x"

Creative Director on PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, Brendan Greene, has taken to Twitter to clarify that the game will run at 30 FPS on all Xbox One consoles at launch. Despite his previous statements, even the Xbox One X will output 30 FPS gameplay. Greene did confirm the team is "exploring options to increase FPS", but has nothing further to add at this time.

I guess the most powerful console ever created can't even come close to a gaming PC :(

You know what makes this funnier, the day before the 30fps news Brendan Greene claimed that PUBG would be 60fps on the Xbox One X but he ended up taking that back in less than 24 hours.

A $700-800 PC could easily push better fps than the XBX1.

But the point of PC gaming is that for a little more (like a $1500 build), you can get something that runs games at a stable 60 fps (even 144 fps) at max graphics settings and 4k.

Consoles are only good value when compared to budget PCs.

Second hand parts still runs better then your closed box piece of shit. Unlike you I have the freedom to do what I want with my PC. I can upgrade it, I have a larger category of games at cheaper prices and a larger list of backwards compatibility then you as well. If your Xbox breaks your fucked, my PC breaks I replace a part. You have to buy a new console. I'm also sure you bought an X1 and now an X1X so... who is cheaper? PC games are cheaper to.

Director's Cut, Remnants of Isolation, ReThink, Sanctum 2, Serial Cleaner, Tesla Effect, Teslagrad (Fantastic game!), Tiny Echo, Tomb Raider, Uurnog Uurnlimited, Dawn of War Master Collection, Rust. This is all since October of this year. Can't do that on an X1X for $70 bucks. Understand I have another 20 games coming within the $70 as part of the Humble Dec deal... in January I get another $200 dollars of games for $12 and another 5 games from G2A monthly for 4 dollars. I think the price difference has more than swung in my favour.

You get a plastic box with no IPs to speak of and a closed platform where you get what Microsoft gives you, I got all those games +20 more and at least 15 more in January coming for another $16 dollars.

All that money I save on those games, I can upgrade my PC even more if I want!

@i_p_daily: I've said many times that you get what you pay for. If you want quality, you have to pay for it. I do not recommend budget PCs just like I do not recommend an X1X. I am not concerned about cost. I will pay what I need to get the quality that satisfies me.

X1X is a fail just like the other consoles. Seriously... going into 2018 and not a single console can meet the 60fps standard with all games. Not even the "premium product" "most powerful console ever". Pathetic.

And what I paid for the X satisfies me, it has nothing to do with resolution/fps, because I play games not specs. The best racing game that's been released in the last 5yrs was built for console at 30fps, so much for a "60fps standard" BS.

This isn't a cross-platform title.

I think he means parity between X1 and X1X players which is legit and was my first thought as well but they did say things could change so who knows.
