What does PS2 have like Star Ocean 4, Mass Effect, Fable 2, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Lost Odyssey, Banjo 3, Alan Wake, KUF2: Dominon, Two Worlds Temptation, Divinity 2, Venetica, Black Legion, Final Fatnasty 13, Resident Evil 5, Overlord 2, Witcher, Gothic 4, Dragon Age etc etc ?

Let's not even touch the graphics, and the huge next gen in scale and detail worlds matters

Uhhh, PS2 easily. The only genre it really lacked in were Shooters (which I could care less) and WRPG. But yeah, ther PS2's line ups far transcends the current 360's. Also, TC, if you're going to includ Xbox BC, you gotta include PS2 BC, which includes to PS1 lineup aswell, so you really don't want to go there. :lol:Lionheart08

I wasn't aware that WRPGs were the deal breakers when it came to having the best lineups.

Considering i like WRPG's, and huge open worlds to explore more than anything in gaming, of course PS2 means zero to me comparing to 360 and its games

I am lying to myself ? How so ? I even like xbox games like Morrowind, Arx Fatalis, Jade Empire, Fable 2 more than the linear games on PS2

Not that i did not enjoy those restricted titles too, but i just had tons mor fun and deep gameplay on my xbox back then, of course xbox had no JRPG's and its library was limited

Now it only takes FF13 to make PS2 look old and boring to me, the whole PS1+PS2 library is nothing comparing to even just that one game, or Fable 2, Mass Effect etc etc

And i well know PS2 is not a next gen console, so why is it compard to one in this thread, in the first place ?

I never owned a PS2, I got the original xbox and gamecube, but I know the PS2 sold like 170+ million units now, and has probably the biggest game library for gamers at the time. So coming PS2 at the time and the 360 at the time, id say the Playstation 2 is the winner. Its pretty much playstation 2 > everything.

I mean right now if you had a choice between a PS2 and 360, its a no brainer get a 360. However at its time PS2 compared to 360 at its time, like I said before PS2 would win.

Name one 360 action adventure game that matches up to Okami or Shadow of the Colossus or Metal Gear Solid 3

Name one 360 RPG that matches up to FFX, DQVIII, Dark Cloud 2, The Shin Megami Series

Name one 360 fighting game that matches up to Tekken 5 or Virtua Fighter 4

So yeah, you keep hiding behind those WRPGs.;)

PS2 is ten billion times better than 360. 360 isnt even in the top 10 (Xbox 1 is a billion times better than 360)

The PS2 is legendary and is in the hall of fame. But it's a new era and the Xbox 360 is the king for this new area for having the quantity and quality of games and the best console online service.one_on_one
