That's all that matter. l liked Army of Two, and it got a 6.5.Ouch.
I still might get this eventually though. It looks pretty fun.

When are dumb fanboys gonna stop hyping games Jeezzzz!.
Oh wait never,I really don't care what score the game got.I'll try it out when I get home from work, the beta was pretty good, not great but good.
Yeah, the last point I can understand. Heck most reviews pointed that out too. It's just the first two points that don't make sense. The third is nitpicky at best. The Bad according to the review
- Complex battle system makes for a steep learning curve
- Lacks the fluid feel of a great fighting game
- Horrible, pixelated menu screens
- Some stills and a bit of voice-over do not make for a compelling character narrative.
The first two seem very weird negatives. Steep learning curve? So the game rewards me for spending more time with it and learning the system. Far from bad in my opinion. Lacks fluid feel of a fighting game? The game is more fluid than Super Smash Brothers
The third point is just being very nit picky. From what I have seen the menu screens look fine.
The fourth point is the only point I highly agree with and was very dissapointed to find out about the game.

[QUOTE="kuraimen"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] Um... what?DarkLink77With "reviewers" like Tom McShea a donkey could normally do a better work. McShea is not nearly as bad as say, Brandon Justice. At least McShea is consistent.
mcshea is inconsistent...he is so far off from the average of a game its pathetic
[QUOTE="kuraimen"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] McShea is not nearly as bad as say, Brandon Justice. At least McShea is consistent.DarkLink77Consistently bad. At least in Metacritic the bad reviews cancel each other. Here we have to accept clown like McShea as the final word. More like just consistent. inFamous 2 and SS? 7.5. Similar games, similar issues. Wonderbook and Journey? 8.0. Similar games, similar issues. I would much rather take the odd McShea review than most of the crap on MetaCritic. Averaging reviews is monumentally stupid.
I don't really have much against the guy, but I'd hardly call him consistent. He gave inFamous a 9.0, and inFamous 2 a 7.5, and literally all the things he complained about were in the first game as well.

We also get less tolerant of stupid crap in sequels, so there is that.[QUOTE="UnrealLegend"][QUOTE="DarkLink77"] More like just consistent. inFamous 2 and SS? 7.5. Similar games, similar issues. Either way it doesn't really matter, I guess.
i didn't find the beta fun at all, of course i'm not a huge fan of these "brawlers". 6.5 bad though?
lol hyped as low as possible and STILL flopped.. gg.WeepsForFools
PS3, it only does everything
Including the most spectacular flops

So he's only inconsistent when he gives a game you like a sh*tty score? I thought he was crazy to give Skyward Sword a 7.5, but after playing it halfway through, I agree with him. He also gave Mario Galaxy 2 a 10, which I agree entirely with. What's a review where he's totally off point?[QUOTE="JohnnyCageMK"]But this was their last chance to compete with Nintendo yet again... and it failed once again. HA! Calling All-Stars competition for Nintendo is like calling Big Rigs competition to Gran Turismo. cows are still crying over this piece of trash. Just let it go. There's always next year.

I guess the trolls now occupy this thread now that everyone else is either playing this game or playing their other games.game_masta14Identifying yourself as a troll isn't necessary, we already know what you are.

You know, regardless of the merits and quality of this game, the sheer hilarity of it flopping, and the ensuing damage control, is pure gold. Cows got their asses handed to them on a silver platter this year, not just by the Xbox 360 and the PC, but also by the 3DS and hell, the Wii. Nintendo Land>>>>PS3's biggest exclusives this year. How does it feel cows?charizard1605Well, to be fair, it's still better than dat zombieU aka teh biggest Nintendo's new IP of the next generation
Just finished Nariko's story mode. Definitely a good game with some improvements needed if there is a sequel. Story mode should've had actual cutscenes all throughout instead of just before the rival battles. Menus are bland and although the majority of the stages are great with nice background action going on, a couple are lazy. The final boss battle is pretty weak also. The combat flows well, I love the special system and the voice acting / soundtrack is great. I still can't however, find this complexity the reviewer mentioned though. If I had to rate it, I'd go with a 7.5 so far. Game is good and fun to play but not amazing.

Considering Gamespot's review is the lone negative one on Metacritic, I'd take it with a grain of salt.
