The PS4 can't play CD's it doesn't recognize them,so yeah it is a physical impossibility.

It's more expensive than the Nes mini, but only comes with 20 games. Also no analog sticks on the controllers. Didn't the PS1 have sticks?

Well ,if you factor in the PS games aren't as old as the NES games and are likely to be more substantial, then yes 100 dollars seems about right. NES had 30 games for 60. SNES had 21 for 80. PS has 20 for 100. The inevitable N64 Mini will have at least 20 games and will most likely be 100 as well. And yes, the PS1 had Dual Shock, but it didn't start out that way. I'm guessing the games included will not rely on the analogue sticks.

I agree about companies copying each other all the time, but let's also acknowledge the fact that if Nintendo didn't release theirs, Sony wouldn't. Sega and Atari minis were products of defunct hardware manufacturers, so Sony wouldn't had any reason to do. Their direct competitor (Nintendo) did, so now they had to. So in this particular instance, the tweet is apt.

1995 Coolyfett was the ninth grade, this system was a game changer. This mini console will do well. Coolyfett will not get one, already own a PlayStation TV with most of the games the PlayStation Classic will have.
I'm on the fence on this one really. I have some great memories of playing the original with friends but to buy it now would be just purely for nostalgia. Not sure I want to put out the $100 in a system that only has 20 pre loaded games. Time will tell if I weaken and pick this one up.
