VR is something of a new venture, it's being experimented with, it can play out well or fail like Kinnect did but i doubt it, overall it was a great conference and we got decent game annoucements, There is nothing cringe worthy about the PSX from this year, that's pretentious and silly, i want the topic title changed back at once.

So I'm still reading through the thread (only saw the end of the keynote with the MOBA from EPIC), but I saw a highlight of the talk is that there's a Playstation exclusive character for SF5, does that mean there is no cross play between PC and PS4?

MS's last showing was at Gamescom, and it was pretty good.

Nintendo's last showing was their recent Direct, also pretty good.

Microsoft showed off Scalebound at Gamescom, that alone was better than this shit.

Ni No Kuni 2 was announced and looks great but yeah it was a very bad show other than that. But what did Nintendo or M$ announce at their latest shows that was any better? Nintendo announced Twilight Princess HD and M$ showed games that were already announced just like Sony did today.

It doesn't matter if it was rough, it looked interesting and it has a year to be polished.

FF7 remake and NNK 2 are more my jam. It doesn't matter if remake is a multiplat if we're just judging this conference based on what's been shown, it was shown here.

I'll be playing it on PC regardless hopefully.

I'm glad they gave Wedge and Biggs the same character design treatment as the main cast despite them making an exit fairly early in the story.

Yakuza 0 was the best announcement in my opinion. Now hoping for Yakuza collection with all games on ps4. I'll even buy the PS2 version.

Microsoft debuted gameplay footage for games like Crackdown, Scalebound, and Quantum Break. Keyword, debuted.

Sony had a 106 minute conference, and only 12 of those minutes were good- Uncharted, FF7, NNK2, and RnC.

Hey I'm not defending Sony's show today. It sucked. But lets not give M$ any credit for finally debuting gameplay for games they previously announced a year before or in the case of QB 2 years ago. They haven't announced anything major this year.

The PSX tradition seems to be trolling people. At least E3 will be an amazing show.

They did announce Re:Core and Halo Wars 2 and Gears of War 4 and Sea of Thieves and Forza 6 this year. Pretty major, man.

So what was announced during PSX? From what I have been reading on this page it looks like PSX was mostly focused on PS VR.

I nearly fell asleep watching that UC4 trailer... and sparrow racing... atleast that's free.
