Can anyone answer the question for me before i get PSN+? Do you get to keep the games if you cancel?navyguy21

i actually don't know which ones you'd keep, though i'm sure you'd be able to keep a couple. my PS+ ran out about a month ago and i was able to continue playing most of the games i had received through my subscription. i'm talking full games too, not just arcade/psn games, games like NFS: shift, fatal inertia and tomb raider: underworld as well as arcade hits like sonic 1&2, the simpsons and shank 2 (and EVERY SINGLE ONE of my psone classics).

so you do get free stuff out of the deal...

If Sony keeps putting free stuff on PS plus I might actually get it. Also if they do some crazy sales like steam I will definitely get PS plus.

You cant cancel, you pay $15 for 3 months or $50 for a whole year, some games you get to keep yes like Ps1 games, mini's and select PS3 games but the rest they expire but will still sit in your HDD till you renew again then will be able to play them again.

for $50 a year to play over 50 Full PS3 games you would be stupid to not sign up for this. all the games not including the money you save with discounts, basically you get 50% off new game releases so those that pay $10 for new PSN games you'd be paying $5 for them.

Pretty good deal I'd say. It'd be the only way I'd actually get any of those titles, but I like psn completely free, so I'll have to pass on signing up.

Very nice suprise for PS+ owners. I already have Infamous 2, Ratchet & Clank All 4 One, and LBP2 but I'm happy to get the others. Will probably download those other games anyways for backup incase I decide to sell my hard copies or give them away to friends.

Sweet. I've already gotten my money's worth out the PSN games that have been made free for PSN+, now I get these too. And I have a free weekend to play games!

If you ever wanted an opportunity to check out what the PS3 has to offer, drop $20 on a PSN card, get a 3 month PS+ subscription and have a blast. Better yet drop an extra $10 and get Journey too, I promise you won't regret it and you won't look at the Xsux360 the same way ever again.

Is this the big PS Plus surprise they where talking about? I'm really not impressed. Most of those games are meh at best. Saints Row 2(which has no trophies) is already free for people that own Saints Row 3 and I don't think this is for european customers. US offer only.

Actually EU is also part of the "More games for Plus members" EU will have their own special list of games and will also have 12 games this month

Considering Infamous is 15GB and Ratchet is 14GB this prediction isn't too far off. :lol:It will be at least a day or two for each of those for me. Maybe longer at PSN download speeds. I think I'll start with the arcade games first, as I need to clear space for the big ones anyway.

back in the days when the ps3 bricked if it lost power in the middle of a dl i was literally checking weather reports to make sure no thunder storms would brew up before a demo would be finished.

Takes me about 90 minutes for a 1GB-ish demo. My normal internet isn't super fast, so on my laptop it would probably take 30 minutes for 1GB of data.

Of course if I play a game that has any online features, that also suspends the download. So that's another thing that would take longer (last game I was playing was Dragon's Dogma, and I'm sure because of that "pawn system" connectivity that all downloads are probably interrupted). The size of these games is why I'm in no hurry for digital distribution, but for "freebies" I'm not going to complain. This is really good content.

lol it's gonna take me forever to download all those. The only ones I already own are Infamous 2 and Just Cause 2.

Someone did mention on another forum I am on that something big was coming for PS plus members (prior to having it before E3) and I am guessing this is it? Anyway, pretty cool... gonna download some soon.

i agree also i dont want to rent those game, im all for digital downloads but renting is jsuit a waste of money the second sony releases ps4 and stops supporting the ps3 those games will be unplayable.
