I don't see the savings from this service, unless you buy loads of content it might be worth it, I'd spend less than the 60 there asking for every year
I'd rather just spend that 60 on the games I want

The service gives you discounts on games and you get to play games for free for a week. So it works as a rental + discounts so it's pretty good if you like to play games it's pretty great. Though not everyone has the time to play everything so... oh well.
I see the discounts, but there not that great and I own all the PS3 game's they offer for free and you could buy them games cheap pre-owned anyway, its just not that good of a service to meyes, you will be able to get Septembers content. They usually swap out games through out the month but you'll be able to download whatever games are available like Borderlands, LBP2, Infamous 2, Outland, Sideway etc.I need an urgent reply.
Is PSN+ already updated as of today? Or can I get in now and start downloading last month's stuff?
I've been looking for an opportune time to sign up to PS+ for "instant PS3 library."

Thanks brother, hopefully with get PS+ today
If you were to sign up today, you'd get 12 games + at least 3 games per month. Some games like VF5 and DDN are free on day 1. NA's selection is pretty good, but Europe gets way more retail titles and new games. It would be ludicrous to expect to keep your games. You also get other perks like 1GB Cloud storage space for games, automatic downloads(should be available to all PSN users), discounted and free add-ons, avatars, and themes -- which, IIRC, are not tied to your sub. November will add Vita support, including its own instant game collection, discounts, and 1GB of cloud storage space.I'm sure some of those games will be PS1, PSP, and PS Minis, so you wouldn't necessarily need a Vita to take advantage of the collection. I bought a year solely for the 'free' content. The games alone should pay for your subscription unless you already own most of them.Meh. I have found no reasons to pay for a PSN plus subscription because the "free" game selection hasn't been so great so I don't see the price being justified over the course of the subscription.

You should check the PS+ tab on the store to see what games are available. You don't need to be subscribed to take a look. Borderlands was swapped out for NFL Blitz because it was the game of the month. Next week will add another game. Please Log In to post.
