I agree with you on the other 2 but the final evolution for the fire one is still going to be pig based so it's guaranteed to fail.

Man... Those starters looks so fugly, hopefully their evolutions are good.

The character designs are a step up from D/P but I'm not feeling the starters. I'm pretty sure the evolved forms look better though.

It looks like a mix between treeco and cyndaquil.

I can imagine it being difficult to come up with new ones with 493 excisting ones. I'm hoping for some fleshed out evolution paths of excisting pokemans.

Unlike previous Pokemon games, the trainers are much older as if they are young adults. And I do not understand the prejudices many here regarding the appearances of the Pokemon, as most here will eventually accept them. It is like the reaction to the cel-shaded Link several years back.

Terrible. The fake ones looked a lot better.

Everyone complains with every generation about the starters. People are just being way to dramatic, who cares if they dont have a ton of flashy "armor" or design, they obviously kept it simple and we have yet to see the evolutions. Zoroark was released and I thought it was a great new design.
