pokemon black & white starters reveal

I find it highly telling that not a single post saying these suck has any kind of supporting details.

The pig looks a horrible mixture of Charmader (skin), Cyndaquil (stance), and the head reminds me of Umbreon (lol).

The grass one looks like an elegant version of Treeko. Gecko to grass dragon?

The water one... I have no idea what that is... but it reminds me of a beaver... and there was one Pokemon in Diamond that looked like a challenged beaver that I always ran into... so I instantly hate the water beaver thing.

None of them actually bear any such resemblances. The pig has similar skin and stance? Stance? Seriously? It's a quadruped, sheesh. :P

The water one is a sea otter. And it looks nothing like Bidoof. :P

Pretty great starters. The Grass one is up there with Bulbasaur as the best Grass starter. The fire one is already better than the previous Fire starters. The water one looks a lot like Piplup, but it still looks good.

If you think something sucks, there has to be a reason. No one in this topic has posted a reason why they think these Pokemon suck. It's getting to the point where I think it's just knee-jerk hate with no basis.

if it was the other way around and i said " halo reach suxs" with no basis towards this whole board will go crazy and it just seems like hate which i believe it is.

I'm going to lol when these starters become better then 4th gen, a gen alot of people hate, yet has the best starters wih 3rd not too far behind I'd say.

I'll wait till the final evolutions are released to really determine if these starters are bad or not but lol @ fire pig.

They are not pokemon anymore. They are digimon. The reason is because they have 50 different knick knacks added onto their bodies. They look like an old woman that gives out terrible candy in the shape of peanuts. What was great about the originals is they where just normal creatures with maybe one stretch from the norm. But now it seems that they have to be some clown, shell, panda, that wears a fuzzy hooded jacket. A lizard thing that has a fan tail, a wizard cape and gold trim. Last but not least a pig with a bowlingball tail, weird stripes, and bunny ears.

They have become something that isn't simple and cute. They are becoming ugly and just blobs that have different colors. I prefer the scary creatures to stay in my Square and Atlus games.

A green Cyndaquil, an orange pig with rabbit ears and a panda wearing a dress with genitalia on it. These must be three of the ugliest abominations I have ever seen in my life. The fact that you're stuck with an androgynous male or Amy Winehouse as playable characters just sucks.
