In order of importance
1. The games, for the price of a gaming PC i get xbox 360+PS3+Wii and all games from PC i want are on xbox 360, like Witcher 2 etc and 3x more games than i would play if i only had a PC, plus the best games i want like Dark Souls, Fable, Zelda series, JRPGs etc that are not on PC
2. Gameplay, i love pad analog controls and hate to play with keyboard and mouse
3. Ease of use, no installs, no new windows needed, no driver problems, settings configuration, native pad controls for all games, fit perfectly in the living room and i dont have to use a mouse/keyboard in my sofa and huge HDTV
4. Price and rents, i only buy the games i want for my collection and rent everything else, while on PC i would have to buy everything and spend infinitly more cash on games, for 90% of games i pay only 2 euros, than 50 euro it would cost me on PC, the difference is vast, i save thousands of euros every year with consoles

First of all, LOL @ Fable being one of the best game. Handshake is really groundbreaking gameplay mechanics.
The fact that you brought up saving thousands of euros with consoles makes me believe you are either trolling or being ignorant to PC games. I've never seen PC games upwards of 50 euros while the console counterparts are 60. PC games are mostly in 35 - 45 range.
Since when 8.9/10 games are not great ? Fable is one of my favourite series, even though it does have a decline, like all series anyway
Where i live, PC games at launch cost 50 euro, renting them is only 2 euros on consoles
Do the math, i save 48 euro on every game and still get to play them at launch
I usually play more than 30 games per year by rent, which means i save at the very least 30x48 = 1440 euros, which could be far more in a busy year
