A Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time are considered the best Zelda games.

Twilight princess is objectively the best 3d zelda game (not a huge feat though), and Metroid prime and echoes are the definitive metroid experiences. Metroid Prime is simply a much richer experience than Fusion and Super and I wonder what people who think OOT is the best Zelda are smoking. Actually i'd say it's the worst 3D Zelda minus the DS and 3DS games.

Not hating on the 2D metroid's though.

Ocarina flows better than Twilight Princess. Twilight Princess has a very slow start, the side quests have a somewhat tacked on feel because there's quite a bit of empty space, there are combat mechanics introduced to the player that aren't even necessary which negates the need to even bother, and the great villain in that game takes a turn for the worse when the entire buildup in the story is more or less swept from under your feet and POOF--this is whats happening now. Midna was great.

What games?

Super Nintendo. Not only the best Nintendo console, but the best console ever made (so far).

I don't know, I think most would say PS2 would probably win for best overall console, or possibly even a BC PS3.

SNES, easily.

Maybe on this site since there are so many PS fanboys, and most of them started gaming on the PS2...sure. In the real world it's probably a little different. At the end of the day it's still just people's opinion. And my opinion is that the SNES is the best system.
