Okay? Not sure what your point is.... though if what you say is true, it kinda proves I'm not some sort of fanboy. If MS didn't have HALO, Gears of Waror MASS EFFECT, I probably wouldn't even have a 360.... but despite the hardware problems I've had, I'm glad I do own one... I sort of have a love/hate relationship with it.

Love the services, connectivity & games...... Hate the low quality hardware. Not sure if 360's rolling off the line still have alot of problems or not....

But what specifically is your issue with Sony then this gen?

I'm agreeing with you there. Poor animations and strange controls is not what need to be looked past for a game to be EPIC.

Nah... I'm saying, regardless of those issues... the game is still pretty Epic.... I liked the story, atmosphere & gameplay (after an hour or so with it) alot.

My point is that people are saying that they are just testing it, checking it out, which is clearly wrong. They were studying it. I'm not saying that is "lame" that they are doing this. It's important, yes... Ever since Forza came into the picture, PD have had a worthy competitor.

But I find it kind of funny... GT fanboys are always saying that the GT franchise is the better simulator, though PD are going to the competitor to find out what makes their game as good at it is. I mean, it's a fact that Forza is the more realistic driving simulator, and that's what more and more people want: realism, and they want/need to be a part of it.

The usual SW hypocrisy is here alive and well, as usual if the shoe was on the other foot, all the cows would show no mercy with their thread and it would be a legit one at that (somehow).

I can see it now, "Forza devs taking lessons in how to make a real driving game", my God they recently tore Forza 3 a new one, because it wasn't 1080p native (apparently that made it an awful, awful game)

Of course. Polyphony knows that Forza stole the sim racing crown after GT3. They want that again, but I think Turn 10 will remain on top.

Actually I'm happy to hear this, it's about time Poly takes some notes....there's still hope that GT5 can be just as good as Forza 3.

Anyone claming anything over this or any developer who take notes on their rivals in a genre needs a reality check. It's good that they are doing this, they should have done this earlier on in the franchise even more so (as if they hadn't before). It's what makes games better. You think your Halos, Gears of Wars, Uncharteds, and Oblivions got by on their own ideas alone? Everything is borrowed and everything is perfected. One man's idea is another man's tool for an even greater idea. It's how innovation and progression is done.

Forza 3 will be better than GT5 unless GT5 has some sort of car painting feature and an auction house Those 2 features alone will make me shelve GT5 months before I put Forza away, even though I will own both the day they come out.
