[QUOTE="Koalakommander"] oh my, this is ridiculously close minded and offensive.Koalakommander
I just don't understand the level grinding process of WoW.
Ok, if I'm I can't defeat a boss in my typical RPG i'll simply slay enemies around the area to accumulate XP and level up to a point where I can progress through that area of the game. I'll grind through that small portion of the game.
I don't, however, see how level grinding can be the basis of a game. What's the point of gaining these levels?
I guess at one point you can say "OMG L00k @ teh loW LEveL n00Bz!!!!111".
I mean I'm not trying to be offensive you just offer very little in terms of response while I struggle toobtain aninsight onsomeone's motivation behind playing TheWorld of Warcraft.
You aren't leaving your mind open to any possibility other than the sick stereotype of "eww leveling grinding = no life, so boring!!"
the reason WoW is so popular is because it is nothing like that, it is nothing like you describe, and if you want an explanation -- read a review, they all give it high praise.
This man speaks the truth.
Not only WOW can be over-simplified, every game can.
Think about it in every game ever created ,that is action oriented, you go to an area you kill enemies, you advance to the second area, you kill more enemies, advance to the third are, and guess what? Yes! Kill more enemies, and so on and on and on, until the end of the game.
I guess all gamers are boring nerds with no lifes, that go around the Interwebs, calling other people N00Bz.
