Yes, since all games and series outside of those are "indie crap".I know.... I'm just portraying my shock, at the fact that he's never played a single title in any of those series.... it's juat really hard to believe that "a gamer" exists, that hasn't.
Like the other guy that has never played a "MARIO" game..... it's fine that he hasn't.... but please don't refer to yourself as a gamer in that case.
I've been gaming since 1985 and I've never played a Mario game. Why? Because I was never into platformers and I really hate the Mario character and the overall graphics theme of those games. I know I'll get a lot of flaming for this but I always thought of Mario games as kids games. Also, never had a Playstation so never played lots of popular series of that platform.
Am I not a gamer because of this? That's just absurd, I could just as easily say people are not gamers if they never played classic LucasArts adventures like the Monkey Island series, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max, or Sierra's point-and-click adventures like the Kings Quest series, Space Quest series, Leisure Suit Larry series, and on, and on, and on...
