Basically the greatest points in my gaming career that stuck with me the most over the past... ****, its probably been two decades now.
This is when I knew next gen was here. I was in awe the entire game. 
Theres tons but this is as far back as I can go 
Half Life 2 had some really memorable moments:
This vista as you leave the train station really struck me as being almost real. It was one of the best feelings of immersion I've had.
Escaping the Combine later on in the level was exhilarating. It's interesting how they made you feel like you were actually running for your life.
Then there was Episode 1. I have to say that this was my favorite part (I don't have it installed, so I just grabbed a screen from Google):
The whole scene played out so perfectly that it made me laugh.

Some of the boss fights in SotC are definitely some of my most memorable moments in gaming history.
Almost everybody has an Epic moment, but how about a funny one, better yet, a bizarre, funny, memorable, awesome moment like this one:

i used to make him fart nonstop in this game... remember saying stuff like "work", "follow me"... then u slap them, tap them on the shoulder say "sorry", then howthey reply "okay". Pretty much epic in my book
anyway. One of the most memorable games I played as a child was Blasto. So awesome

I was gonna post this image. Im gonna admit it, I cried...it was just to epic! :cry: I also love the scene right after this where the mini geckos are all up in his grill and he yells "OTACON!!!!' And lets not forget the scene after that when Snake yells "LIQUIIIDDD!!!!" and Liquid responds "SNAAAAAAKEEEEE!!!!!!!!!" EPIC!!!
