This thread is surprisingly calmer then I thought it'd be. Really Mass Effect 2 doesn't need any more justification, so this guy has an opinion that's valid. As for the gameranking or metacritic scores, it says nothing about the differences in quality. The other day one group of fanboys wanted to jump under an IGN editor's throat for stating that two completely different games can be compared (ME2 being the better). Gloating over this would be nothing short of hypocritical, but this System Wars after all.

This same guy gave Ninja Blade an 8.0...ummmm sure Ninja Blade is a better game than Mass Effect 2 :roll: honestly I don't see why Gamerankings includes Gamecritics.

The game is definitely better than what we would consider an "average" rating here.

From reading the review I can only assume the game got a 7.5 because the reviewer didn't like the fact that some of the broken RPG elements from the first game were no longer there.

I am still trying to figure out where exactly the 7.5 even came from. It seems like they just chose it arbitrarily because I don't see any kind of criteria or scoring system.

all i know he gave Dragon Age what it deserved 5/10 couldnt agree more. he also gave Mass Effect 1 10/10 keep that in mind 2 people

I read down the ME2 review, while I have not played the game, and believe that the game looks epic (to say the least), everything that the reviewer said seemed to be understandable.

I love when people get so upset over one review, it's honestly hilarious.

Okay, well on subject with Mass Effect 2, game looks freaking epic. It really makes me want a 360 just to play it. I may pick it up on PC and just run it on low settings, which my PC can handle, depending on how much I like the original, which I plan to pick up tomorrow.

Now you see! We can atleast agree that Mass Effect 2 looks awesome. I for one have been meaning to finish my first run through, but have been to busy to do so. It is probably one of my favorite games of this year so far and the review scores garnered only fuel my need to play more of it. :D

Of course UC2 stands as a better exclusive, because ME2 isn't exclusive.

Anyways, my reaction is "I don't really care, ME2 is giving me much more playtime".
