With the way GS has been latley, I'd say 8.5 at most. However that won't stop me from buying the game and enjoying the crap out of it.

Oh I know that. I'm just saying that it will make everyone here be like "MAN, Zelda sure is a crap game!" So... basically, regardless of score, I'm getting this game.

I'm thinking Gamespot will give it a 9.0 and it will have a 94+ metacritic score

Sterling will toss a coin- if heads then 9.5, tails then 7.5 :P (no seriously with that guy it's imposs. to predict -- he gave TW2 a 6 and KZ3 a 10)

Yahtzee will diss it like almost every other game, following which his inbox will be flooded with hatemail - another day @ work for Benjamin Croshaw.

Don't see GS giving it more than 8,5, since it doesn't seem to change core gameplay in any way. Though to me it will probably be an awesome game.

Apparently people haven't been reading up on the new Zelda. This installment is the most different the series has been since Majora's Mask or Zelda II. It's going to play more like Metroid than a zelda in formula and the combat has been improved to the point where the developers have said that most enemies are a puzzle unto themselves. It's going to be very hard to deduct marks for being too much of the same this time around.

Skyward Sword is looking to be the Mario Galaxy of the Zelda series

8.0. The controls look much improved, but I have a feeling that the flying around is going to get old quickly. And knowing Nintendo, it will be used too much. Just like too much sailing, too much bug collecting, etc. Nintendo is obviously building this game around the idea of utilizing motion plus to the fullest. This game will probably also have annoying collecting of some kind (like tears in TP).

It's most likely gonna get 8.5ed here.

9.0 because its the last great Wii game and because Nintendo doesen't want to bring over Xenoblade, Last Story and Pandora.

Been realistic, a solid 9.0, maybe a 9.5.

People are trying to play it safe because of Twilight Princess' 8.8/8.9, but Skyward Sword looks amazing.

The closer to ten you go, the more your review is probably biased. I don't believe a game can reach those hieghts just like the world isn't perfect. It is not realistic to give a game above a 9.0 unless it is truly amazing and has things executed well. Even then, a 9.4 or 9.5 should be the highest and honest reviewer should go.Pegalamp

That's assuming a 10/10 means perfection. Some games have that great of a design where they can't get much better, and if you added or changed anything it'd probably be for the worst. 10/10 doesn't mean perfection because it can't exist, so it has to either be "What other games should strive for," or "this is the best in it's class." Something along those lines are more appropriate.
