To anybody unwilling to invest in a decent gaming rig (like myself), they may aswell be Xbox exclusives. The fact that Final Fantasy VII and VIII got ported to the PC didn't stop them from pretty much defining the PS1 platform nor did the fact that the original Halo got an improved, online PC version stop it from being the quintessential Xbox shooter.

His argument only holds up if you pretend that great games coming to the 360 aren't actually coming to the 360.[QUOTE="Menalque2"][QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"] They aren't exclusive. That's a fact. You can't use them when attempting to list exclusives. PCs are apart of the gaming industry.Senor_Kami

They do count as great 360 games, but not as 360 exclusives.
[QUOTE="thequietguy"]Wow, 1st of all, Wii fails. It's pretty obvious, since only about five good games a year come out on the system. 2nd of all, Microsoft has much more than Halo. Have you ever heard of: Splinter Cell, Crackdown, Left 4 Dead, Forza Motorsport, Alan Wake, or Mass Effect? Also, for the person who said Forza is only hyped for its graphics...Is that a joke. I think you're talking about GT5. It's obvious that GT5 will have better graphics than FM3. Forza Motorsport is hyped because it is the BETTER racing sim. You got it completely wrong.SW_modified*sigh* You're very wrong. Wii does not "fail." Wii owns. You know what the last 9.5 exclusive console game was? SSBB. Want to know what the last 9.5 exclusive handheld game was? GTA: Chinatown Wars. Splinter Cell is multiplat. L4D is multiplat. Alan Wake is Multiplat. Forza is hyped for many reason. Graphics, exclusivity, quality. But, we don't know if FM3 will beat GT5, so yeah.... Wow, I hate when people do that. Okay, when a game is released for only ONE console and the PC, then it is basically an exclusive for that one console, since the other two aren't getting the game. It's even better if a game comes out on the 360 and PC, since Microsoft also owns PC.
But that's just my opinion. You're entitled to have yours, so I'm not going to argue. I consider any game that doesn't come out on the other two major consoles (OTHER THAN PC) an exclusive.

Alan Wake is a Microsoft published franchise, how can it be any less connected with the Xbox 360 platform than, say, the original Panzer Dragoon is with the Saturn? Didn't that receive a PC version? Come to think of it, wasn't Sonic & Knuckles ported to the PC? I suppose we'll have to also agree that the original Mario Bros. shouldn't be associated with the NES because it was ported to the home computers. I know it hurts to hear it, but your oh so hallowed and superior PC was not mentioned in this thread. I thought we were discussing the big three games for each home console.

I think it says alot when people compare consoles and they argue passionately that games that aren't coming to any console but the 360 shouldn't count as 360 games. If your line-up is a strong as you say it is, why do you have to do this?[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"] Please tell me how Alan Wake and Splinter Cell will define the platform as Mario, Zelda and Metroid do.
