It's all opinion, but if people are going to use sites and go out and tell a lie "it's all 360 sites" I'm going to throw it right back because it's false. There is a "solid but not universal" agreement that C2 360 is the best looking game/among the very best looking games on consoles. That being said all these games being talked about KZ3, UC2, C2 are all within the realm of eachother.

At this point, the best looking console game comes down to your own personal preference.

Seriously, if it takes pixel counting, fps averaging sites to tell you what looks better then you know there is a problem.

Most of us (with a lick of common sense) have been able to tell these two consoles are roughly even from the start. Once again a game like Crysis 2 comes along to reinforce that.

Sure, the PS3 has had the better looking exclusives for a good part of this gen, but mostly due to having highly talented devs with big budgets.

Just about anything that can be done on one system can be done on the other.

Uh, no. I could find multiple fanboys from each faction that act like that. It is in no way a hermit exclusive trait.

And the guy has a point. Hermits get called elitists for talking about their (obviously) better graphics, but then lems and cows pick at each other over the most minute differences... "my sub-hd resolution is higher than your sub-hd resolution!!!" and its all good?

Exactly.Same amount of ram.One with better GPU and one with better CPU.Its always going to be close...no doubt though that Sony has best 1st party studios when it comes to tech.

I honestly can't see wy people find Killzones graphics good. :? Uncharted 2 and GOW, sure, but Killzone looks like **** literally. All the textures meld together, it's hard to make anything out, it has so much contrast it's just ridiculous, the enviroments are so over the top it seems like GG tried far too hard. I'd say UC2 is on par (maybe a little better) than Crysis 2, but Killzone and GOW? No way.

All the textures meld together, it's hard to make anything out, it has so much contrast it's just ridiculous, the enviroments are so over the top it seems like GG tried far too hard. i would change that to "best looking games," period. at least in terms of

- cinematic presentation (like uncharted 2 and heavy rain)

- mind-blowing and diverse environments (like killzone 2 and 3, and uncharted 2)

- epic scope (like GOW3 and the killzone games)

In my eyes (no pun intended), those are the features that really matter. graphics alone dont make a game a visual paragon. anyone who thinks that they do, has a weak, shallow, and almost infantile grasp of the visual medium.

Crysis 2 is one of the best looking games on consoles but not console graphics king. No game with such inconsistent textures, glitches, bugs, frame rate drops and pop ins will never get that vote from me. However, if Crysis 2 ran like KZ 3 or Uncharted 2 it could easily be console graphics king. I do believe if Crytek developed exclusively (on any platform) could make the best looking game on any system. My eyes are on BF3, Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 now.

I personally find crysis 2 to be ulgy, and I have the pc version. Not impressed with its graphics, uc2 is the clear winner

Its a matter of opinion as far as C2 vs. UC2 is concerned as both are technical beasts. And those 2 games arent a whole lot better looking than some of the other "good lookers" this gen.

Graphically, the best exclusives of both systems, and the best multiplats are all very very close.

Btw. i'm basing this on the games i've played, including Crysis 2 for the PS3.

People are basing off a visual standpoint not a technical one. If it was it seems C2 is doing a good amount of more advanced affects then other console games.

After playing the demo for KZ3 (atleast i'm honest) and Crysis 2, i have to give it to C2. And what i mean by that is, even the first time i played the KZ3 demo, nothing at all wowed me bout it, but there's been many "wow" moments during my playthrough of C2 (currently at the FDR, cant remember the level name :P).
