PS3 has no game (till the end of the year)

other than sly cooper 4 ( not even sure if it's coming out this year) , there isn't a single game at all that I'm looking forward to. 2012 is officially the worse gaming year for me, and I thought it was impossible to beat 2010

Also, people expected more from starhawk and twisted metal, so for them to score as low as they did (both in the 70s on metacritic lol: ) is a disappointment for the fans. So yeah, the PS3 has been DISAPPOINTING this year. Too many flops, and nothing worthwhile upcoming.

I'm actually a big R&C fan and this new entry doesn't look exciting at all.

And I've played enough of Killzone to know its meh, including the AWFUL first Killzone. Why they're giving that garbage the HD treatment is beyond me. But I guess cows need something to play this holiday.

You just want them to be bad because you can't play them, you don't have a PS3, you are trying to justify your system purchase by downplaying the other product that you cannot afford.

Flop does not mean bad game, and both of those games scored well (Star Hawk should score lower though IMO). Only one in denial here is you, at no point are these considered to be bad games by most people.

You just want them to be bad because you can't play them, you don't have a PS3, you are trying to justify your system purchase by downplaying the other product that you cannot afford.

People do this with plenty of things. You are trying to convince yourself that you made the right purchase decision. Basically, you have buyers remorse. Just like Johnny.

It's funny how you are bashing those, when you have Kinect games. It's even more funny you are dissing the PS3 version of AC3 because it has extra content, how is that a bad thing for PS3 owners? They are getting the best version of AC3, they are paying the same price you are for the game, but getting more for their money. How is that losing? Sounds like they are winning to me.

They are disappointing games. If you enjoy them, good for you. But they have been rated as mid-70s games, which in gaming journalism is most definitely average. Very few games journalists make full use of the 10 point scale.
