PS3 is probably slightly "better" but it all comes down to games and i have to say at this moment i would choose 360 over PS3 because of the games that are due to be released in this year. This comes from PS1/PS2 owner. BTW- i don't have yet next gen systemVojkan80001

 The Xbox 360 customized GPU from ATI has much more polygon power than the Non-Customized GPU in the Playstation 3. The final versions of Xbox 360 development kits were completed this summer of 2006, just like the final versions of the Playstation 3 development kits. 1st Generation Xbox 360 games were programmed by developers using unfinished development kits that only used a small percentage of the power that the Xbox 360 system actually has available; the game developers had access to only one of the three CPUs of the Xbox 360. 2nd Generation Xbox 360 games like Gears of War are released in a way that allow a much larger percentage of the Xbox 360's power to be used! Never forget that even the Independent Playstation Magazine said that 2nd Generation games like Gears of War are the reason why the Playstation 3 will NOT have the best graphics.

Ps3 has more peak power in some areas, while the 360 typically achieve higher average power. If they where cars, ps3 would have higher top speed, while the 360 has better steering, breaks and acceleration. Since no game is a highway, the 360 will win many races.aceReborn
