ps3 is overpriced

Why is it still 299? with move the damn thing costs 400$ . Blu ray players are pretty cheap now . Sony can't keep playing this card . 256mbs of ram and a gpu that was dated when the ps3 came out .

It isn't overpriced, you may find it expensive, but overpriced it is not.

Seems like a pretty solid price to me. The only 360 that is cheaper in Canada is the Arcade IIRC, and that lacks any form of HDD (though the USB drives work).

As people have said before, expensive doesn't equal overpriced. And how does the price of Bluray players say anything on the value of the PS3, which is made for PLAYING Bluray discs as opposed to just watching them? You don't have to buy Move either, I'm not planning on doing it, and I bought the PS3 at launch for $600. $300 is a small price to pay in comparison to that.

How does the PS3 in any way have outdated hardware? Games keep looking better every year.

LOL what? A PS3 does much more than a blue ray player. And PS3 has the best graphical game on consoles.

This makes no sense, Bluray is still the leading way to watching movies. Everything else is outdated compared to Bluray, actually. This is also unrelated to the PS3.

It's 300 dollars. That's hardly overpriced. I bought my 360 for 300 dollars. :|

Dude the PS3's price point is about the same as the Xbox 360's.

only the Move Bundle is it $400.

Ive owned both and XBL and PSN and I find PSN to be just as capable as Live. The only 2 featuers I ever cared about are online gaming and DLC and PSN delivers in these services...So I got no idea why you are talking about when you say PSN isn't good.

Every time I put in Uncharted 2, Ratchet Future, God of War 3, Killzone 2, LBP, and full HD 1080p Bluray movies, I never feel I'm playing any 'outdated' machine.

The only thing cheaper than the PS3 here in Canada is the 360 arcade, which is useless junk. You either get the REAL 360 priced at 300, or nothing at all.

You obviously have a ps3, otherwise you wouldn't care about the graphics being dated (which they are not), this also leads me to ask, if you already own a ps3, why would you care about the price?

4GBs is hardly enough memory to save games, download titles, etc.

For one of the Old Xbox 360 ARCADES.

For an Old Xbox 360 Elite like the one I have you can get it for $199. That is if you can find one now.

Most likely all of the Old Models have already been sold so now your choices are the New Xbox 360 4gig or the New Xbox 360 Elite.
