I think it's funny when ever someone mentions that PS3 only has 256mb of RAM. Just because it's weird that 360 exclusives are no match for PS3 exclusives in the graphic department. And yes Blu-ray players are much cheaper then they used to be, but DVD players are almost free now a days.

that doesnt make a difference unless you are using a hdtv

Sorry but Lemmings lose this argument..

The XBox 360 is $200 for the "gimped" model and it still uses DVD-9's.. The online is $60 a year while the PS3, Wii, PC are all free. Both system's have a respectible library now so games aren't even a debate any more. So the bottom line is the 360 is more of an "overpriced" machine than the PS3. Having said that, I believe BOTH are priced too high at this stage in their lifecyles.

And u are talking about dated hardware at launch? :P wii is a million times worst As far as 360 goes... today is Sep 25 so it was launched 4 years 10 months and 3 days ago, 60*5=300 + the actual console + batteries for the controller? (not even gonna talk about memory cards, wi-fi and the other usual stuff)

o.O Don't people know its 256mb xdr dram and 256 MB gddr3 for the GPU, but the GPU can use all 512mb? O.o

Pretty much any video card you buy will spank the ps3 the gpu in it was last gen when ps3 came out 8000 series cards are a gen ahead one of the main selling points of ps3 is that it can play hd movies.

k then how much more is the 360 overpriced considering it's just a dvd player by your logic. Also 360 has weaker hardware than ps3, 360 fanboy confirmed and you dont deserve that paper mario icon.

At least it doesn't come in installments like the 360 :P Launch price 400USD (if my memory serves) + 300USD (for the 5 wonderful years of XBL) = 700USD and counting... (wi-fi, hd-dvd, hd, ect are left out to avoid flaming)

Wa-BAM!!!.... There it is... Launch buyers ended up spending more on the 360 than PS3. Because it's easier to take your money little by little. This is where those who claim 360 being cheaper as a positive switch gears and hypocritically speak how XBL is worth it.

You forget the PS3 launched at $600.. You're not exactly in the position to judge pricing.. just saying.. Besides those add-ons aren't exactly necessary.. Should I add in the cost of Dual Shock 3 controllers w/rumble $50 (since sony decided it wasn't "last gen" anymore :roll: ), or the cost of at least 3 blu ray movies a year (totaling $50-$80) because what's the point in bragging about br if you don't buy movies to support it. You see that can be shifted both ways my friend.

i just saw a sony blu ray player on sale for 129.99 . They really need to get the price down . The graphics are just so dated now .

you also have to take into consideration that those BR players you saw probably isnt onlinecompatible meaning they arent upgradeable and connecable to the net. for 129.99 yu get a bare boned BR player which is good for most of us but at 299.99 you get a much better player and a video game console with a pretty nice sized hdd to boot. so no i dont consider it expensive OR overpriced

300? pffttt i paid 380 for my 250 GB, as for being overpriced...i disagree, its worth it weight for what i paid for it, great games, and the free online is good
