Dont know if Im totally with the OP here...BUT I will say that I bought a 360 at launch. It died on me 8 months later and was thrown in the trash. I bought another one and its been in for repair 4x now.
I have since gave my 360 to my boys. I could care less about it. Dont care even if they delete my games, themes ect..Just dont care. MS about killed my love of gaming with their junk. And I have been gaming since 1981 at the age of 10.
I just purchased the PS3 and a few games/ and movies....I have to say SONY has reassured me that gaming is still alive, innovative and ready to move me ahead in the hobby I love so dearly. The second I plugged it in I was in heaven. From the dashboard to the free online to HOME..I dont see me being unhappy in the near future. Especially since buying a DreamGear controller that is identical to the 360 controller.
I was a MS supporter from day one standing in line "1st" in line...for the Xbox in 01...THen "1st" in line for the 360...BOTH times waiting for 9 hours. Buying tons of games, controllers, even LIVE when it was first introduced. NOW...I simply hope they die and someone else takes their place....ie..."apple,sega?"
Thank you SONY for giving me back my true love and passion for gaming...

Give me a break :|
NO give me a break. You read my story. I gave MS a chance for 9 years. The XBOX was a beast. I loved it. BUT the 360 has done nothing but disapoint me time and time again. Making me scared to even turn it on. And once it is on it sounds like a train rolling down the tracks. Yes the 360 has some good games. BUT its not enough to make me stay with them.
