PS3 is the best selling console of 2011

PS3 is #1 with 6.6 million consoles sold while Xbox is third with 5.5m (NDS is second) and doing poorly everywhere but in the US. To be more specific, NA is the only reason the Xbox is still competitive (almost 4m sold just there) and is all thanks to Kinect (my opinion). Kinect... It seems those Sesame Street exclusives are coming handy. :lol:

Well the point of this thread is overall sales, and considering how not everyone here lives in the US (PS3 also outsold the 360 in Europe I hear), it makes me wonder what the point of your replies are. It doesn't make the PS3 outsell the 360 any less does it?

And seriously, 10 million ahead? That's kind of ignoring how close sales were in the US this year, and is a pretty big exaggeration.

When fallout sells 4 million outside Japan and 60.000 in Japan, i cant see how Bethesda would be mostly interested in PS3 sales in Japan

That is why 360 gets exclusive DLC for Skyrim for example and Witcher 2 is only coming to xbox 360

also if ps4 keeps it's online free next gen,i will be getting a ps4 and the nextkinectbox won't stand a chance.

Perhaps Japan should be wondering if by their refusal to support a VG console from the USA, they may be creating a whole generation of gamers in the U.S. who may decide they will never buy a Japan made auto ? :o :twisted:

Quite the opposite: Kinect is the only thing that keeps 360 at least remotely competetive.

But it doesnt matter that much since nextbox will launch late 2012 or early 2013...
