But it's true, I don't have to go out and re-buy all my movies like PS3 owners do, I buy what I want when I want and have time to save the money up.

So, I buy Blu-ray and have to watch movies that don't look any better on the PS3. Why don't I just buy a 360 for $200 cheaper and watch my DVD's on a DVD player. See what I'm saying, you will have to rebuy all your movies in a new format to get the higher resolution.

first off let me say its the best system for what you get with it i am not talking about games #1 great hard ware more powerful then 360 and wii #2 blu ray for 600$ is a great deal if you got HD one of the main reason i got ps3 was cus it is a HD movie player # 3 easy to use interface #4 you can put things from you pc to ps3 with more space then 360 #5 you can use psp with it in a few cool ways #6 wireles controller #7 u can look at web pages #8 free online #9 it does not make much sound at all unlike 360 #10 it can play so many disc formates now these are just a few reason why the ps3 system is great. yes it does not have many games but it is getting a few big games this year.deadmeat59

1.  when you get that power onto the tv screen let me know.  for now sony is a 68 pound 5th grader saying he could lift 1000 pounds,  he just dosn't want to.  the 360 has power that shows.

2.  the 360 hd-dvd is only $200,  and it works with pcs as well as the 360,  so you paid 3 times what you had to for your main reason.

3  the 360 and wii are too hard?

4. the 360 has been there and done that.  when most people think pc they think windows.  the 360 is the one with windows integration and live anywhere.  the ps3 gets yellow dog linux,  and less than 10% of ps3 useres know how it works and can use it.

5  you could hook a psp to a 360 back in '05

6  the 360 has wireless controlers,  and since the owner can easily change the batteries they aren't disposable like the ps3 controlers.

7 you can look at web pages?  didn't you post here from a windows based pc?  i thought so,  more of that unseen power.

8 silver is free.  the pc has free online,  and it's far superior to the ps3. 

9  i dont play games in silence.  you dont even notice the 360 sounds. 

10  it can play many,  again it just dosn't want to.  it uses ancient mp2 even for hd. 

too bad the ps3 "just dosn't want to" do half the stuff it could.  sony needs to put up or shut up,  show the power or stop lying.
