PS3 lost exclusives... and 360 didn't?

360 had it worst, and people shouldn't forget that.  

VF5? the most technical fighter ever... with 80% of its user base not knowing how to play the game.  most of you guys never cared anyway, since you had the much more accessable DOA4.

the biggest loss was DMC4, and the lemmings never really cared about the game... NG all the way right?

well the NG series makes it's appearance on PS3.  the exclusive Sigma is the best version of NG by a mile, with additional gameplay elements, and visuals to match this current generation.  was that not a big enough blow to the lemmings? :|

3rd party exclusives are going to be rare this gen because of rising development costs. The companies best bet is 1st and 2nd party exclusives to win over gamers.

Both System's have lost a lot of Exclusives, but it's a bigger deal when Sony loses them, since the PS2 retained them.

Either way, it's a battle of the first parties, and 3rd party deals this gen.

Assassins creed was supposed to be exclusive to ps3. and UT 3 was supposed to be console exclusive to ps3.

DMC was born on the PS2 and has had 3 games in the series...  It help establish the PS2 brand early on and has sold Millions of copies throughout the series.  NG graced the XB twice(one being an expansion) and it sold fairly well but I doubt it cleared 1 mil combined...   Oblivion was NEVER a "360 game" the morrowind series has always been a PC orientated series.. The console's just happened to be powerful enough to run the damn game.. Besides a PS3 version was announced when the game was in it's early stages...   And I see you fail to mention VF 5, FF, AC, ect.. Now who really lost the most during all of this?OhSnapitz

Both systems have lost exclusives, and will probably loose more in time. But you cant deny that the exclusives Sony have lost are a bigger blow than the ones the 360 has lost.GazzaB

as i mentioned, the biggest loss PS3 has so far was DMC4.

NG is generally the more "critically acclaimed" of the two, and Oblivion was definitely a GOTY candidate type game.

i don't see PS3 losing anything bigger than that.

VF5 is a great game, but sales and review scores aren't anything close to stellar (with a few exceptions of course).

• Oh and it may not be in the main series but it's still significant that S/E is supporting the 360... And that last lament game looks incredible..

Gears, Lost Planet are coming to the PC

Keep going, you about finished that list....the only good exclusive the 360 has is Gears. 

PS3 will have Uncharted Drakes Fortune which is worth about 30 360 titles. casey7672

well if i were to chose between a HIGH QUALITY game and a game that "sells better," i'd go for the more quality.

you still can't deny that nobody really expected oblivion to go on PS3.  the series was never sony-based.

i'll give you the PC/Xbox exclusives thing.   it was wrong for me to generalize.  but honestly, we don't really use the PC as an "exclusive" alternative.  many people tried, but it always fails.  Halo wouldn't be exlcusive anymore (no matter how many years it takes to go on PC).

I don't think Last Remnant looks that great.  probably because it's a multiplat title.   i like the design of the main character, but from a technical standpoint, it doesn't look as good FFXIII... Blue Dragon even looks better.

yea the xbox versions were the better. You are right about sony not paying for exclusives cause they were arrogant that 3rd parties will go to them like they have in the past. Sony wouldnt be where they are without the 3rd party supports they had in ps1 and ps2. Besides that i dont know why some ppl say gta was son's exclusive when gta 1 and 2 were on pc and gta3 and up were both sony and microsoft.

thats a pretty normal length for a game. Gears i hear was shorter than that and look how that did. But then again your right about the multiplayer thing, which gears had. Uncharted is just a good looking game that looks like its only good for 1 or 2 play throughs. i'll probably just rent it.
